Marazion is a lovely seaside location, streets and car parks are very busy with people on day visits to St Michaels Mount. As I was there at the peak of the summer this is to be expected. There is easy access to the beach and costal path, other attractions are easily reached on foot, no need to take the car out every day. As a solo traveller I ate at the apartment, take away food is readily available from the local restaurants. It is a lovely little Cornish coastal village.
It is a lovely little Cornish coastal village. It is a fine example of why holidaying in England is so worthwhile. We just miss the season for St Michaels Mount, but the beach was enjoyable and the local hostelries looked after us very well. It is close to the Lizard and close to West Penrith for some stunning walking. St Ives is only a short drive away, Marazion is a great base to explore West Cornwall from. Special mention to the Godolphin, Breakfast and dinner first class food and amazing service. Very professional and personal. Josh was there to greet us with the keys and provided us with suggestions for places to eat and visit. Josh had also stocked the fridge/pantry with basic breakfast provisions which really made it easy for us weary travellers. The accommodation is new, sunny, well-designed and comfortable.
