We have traveled a lot of the years and YOY was friendly and organised.
The only thing worth mentioning is the stairs are steep and it maybe a problem if someone have heavy cases or a knee disability. Overall, everything else was good. Plenty of everything and the owners try hard to make your stay a happy one.

We only stayed one night but about half a mile away from the hotel we found a restaurant which overlooks the Thames and had a wonderful meal which made up a little for the disappointment with the hotel we booked

Boulters Mill and Ray Mill Island were fabulous to walk around, had a nice coffee in a lovely spot at the Piazza just a little further on from the Boathouse which we sat at but didn't order at as they were coming into lunch service and we just wanted coffee. Ate on a very warm summer's evening at Roux at Skindles Mill which was on our doorstep having stayed at the Thames Riveria Hotel. We sat on the terrace and ate a most delightful meal, finished up at the Hall & Woodhouse Boatyard at which we sat outside all evening as very warm. All in all a superb day with lots of lovely things to do and places to go. Evening before we had gone to the Bear near Maidenhead town and that was very pleasant and reasonable as you would expect from Wetherspoons.

Good stay but I belive it should be made clear that there are two buildings and you may not actually stay in the hotel building but the adjacent building and our room did not have a safe or dressing gown and slippers as other rooms do.

The accommodation is within walking distance of the river and there is an excellent Thai restaurant in the next street and I can highly recommend the food. My trip was for work purposes, so I didn't have time for sightseeing.

The river and walks around are lovely.
The river and walks around are lovely. Boulter's Lock is very close - a noted beauty spot, as is Cliveden with its extensive NT gardens, river walk and echoes of scandal.
Maidenhead itself, on the other hand, is badly run-down, as are so many town centres these days. The shopping mall would have been modest in its heyday, but with many empty units, betting and charity shops on its high Street, it resembles the epitome of broken Britain. The shopping centre car park is now closed, permanently by the look of it, and the nearest multistorey is a nightmare to access with evidence of many cars leaving paintwork on the narrow entry/exit bollards.
An area that obviously has many exceptionally expensive private houses and quite extensive recently built apartments, reveals an unexpectedly disappointing town centre.
Excellent breakfast. The room was spotless and very comfortable. The host Laurent was very engaging has a clear passion for hospitality and food. Lots of interesting stories exchanged over breakfast. Would thoroughly recommend whatever the occasion. Town centre and Train station about a 20 minute walk but Maidenhead is very well connected if travelling to London, Windsor or Reading. Secure parking at the rear of the property.
Was ideal for work stay as more like a motel with own entrance to room. Yes the upstairs rooms have steep steps but rooms are comfy and en-suite as described. (Suggest you ask for a room on ground floor in special requests if the stairs would bother you) Did not have food even though it looked excellent as am on a very strict budget. Overall very good value for money mid-week in Maidenhead.
The room was very clean and comfy. I am allergic and usually struggle when I stay at hotels, but this place was very clean and tidy and I didn’t experience any allergic reactions.
The property is well located and the town centre is within a short walk.
The host made the whole experience even better with great conversations. I felt at home
Carla is amazing, she answered all my messages quickly and made sure we had a comfortable stay. She also gave us extra blankets when mentioned that we were cold. The room for 3 was quite spacious, comfortable beds, fridge in the room, plenty of toiletries and the breakfast was also great. Great place for a short stay in Maidenhead!
This is a great Hotel. Those people submitting negative reviews should think about how much they are paying and the quality they are getting for their money. Location excellent, room large with quality fittings. The new General Manager is superb and is no doubt making a difference. This Hotel deserves to do well.
The Thames hotel is, unsurprisingly right by the Thames. We were walking the Thames towpath so it was a great location for us. Our room was large and had a balcony with two seats and a table overlooking the river which was lovely on a warm evening. Good value too.
The food in the restaurant was very good.
The location is very convenient, at a walking distante to City Center and train station. Restaurant is convenient with a nice view of the river Thames. Hotel was recently remodeled, room was comfortable, very clean, new linens. Staff was friendly and professional. It was a very nice stay.
There was a good secure car park with spare places. Staff were very helpful. Good breakfast but limited dinner menu. We liked the location beside to river and not too far from the town centre (about a mile). Our room was not too big but it was clean and comfortable.
The evening menu in the restaurant. No need to go into the town centre. During 4 days of our stay we walked sections of the Thames Path so we didn't have must energy left to walk into Maidenhead for dinner.
Breakfast, dinner and location was excellent.
Large, comfortable, quiet, well-equipped room ( number 6 ) overlooking pool and garden. Staff ( Sarah ) was most helpful, hospitable and accommodating. Good parking and wi-fi. Great walks from the hotel along the Thames paths
This place was a gem with parking and within few mins walk to the high street. The apartment was clean, comfortable and everything you could ask for. We would definitely look into booking again if we are in Maidenhead.
Quiet room comfortable bed friendly staff. I had forgotten my charger and was Kent a personal one by one of the cleaners. However it may be a good idea for the hotel to be able to provide such facilities.
Everything was as I expect a good hotel to be. And my only fault was I couldn't sample the food in the restaurant below! Very pleasant stay. Would very happily stay again.
Beautiful interiors and location on River Thames. I was travelling for business and much prefer to stay in boutique locations, rather than impesonal hotels.
