The staff, the breakfast, cleanliness, bed, size of room were perfect.
I always wonder why there is only one chair in in the room of hotels. We are an older couple and two chairs in a room would be amazing. When one is in the older age bracket it is very uncomfortable sitting on a bed.

Booking.com info is misleading.
Booking.com info is misleading. In relevant to my stay it clearly said pool was open. Then much further down said it wasn't. That's like saying it has free parking in headline terms then finding small print says it will cost £20 to park at this hotel. Information should be clear and kept up to date, not inaccurate, difficult to see and misleading No one will accept responsibility for this inaccuracy

Marlow is a great town with interesting shops and a great selection of places to eat. As it is on the Thames there are lovely walks along the river and even a place to rent small boats by the hour. We especially enjoyed The Ivy and the delicatessen/coffee shop. The Two Brewers pub had a great atmosphere and good food.

Picturesque town on banks of river Thames.
Picturesque town on banks of river Thames. Pretty high street. Lots of choice for shopping and cafes/restaurants. Lovely walks in several directions and along with many eateries being dog friendly, it makes for a great place to bring your dog. The only down side was the large number of huge cars which made the drive over the bridge a bit slow due to these cars having issues getting through the width restrictions.

Lovely little waterside town with loads and loads of different places to eat & drink.
Lots of parking and some beautiful riverside walks to help build an appetite or walk off food.
We ate at the The Hand & Flowers and it was well worth the trip. Yes it is pricey to eat there, but we went for the fixed menu lunch which was amazing. Highly recommended for that special occasion.
It was our first visit and we will be back.
We had a delightful stay! Its central location made exploring the Marlow a breeze, with everything just a short walk away. Our room was clean and cleaned every day, and really quiet.
One unexpected highlight was the fantastic pub located just below the hotel. Although we don't usually frequent pubs, we found ourselves visiting it every evening during our stay. Now that we're home, we genuinely miss its warm atmosphere and friendly service. We can't wait to return!
Bit of a mixed bag which isn't really the fault of the hotel. There is a sinkhole in the car park which has shut the restaurant to the public, but the hotel remains open. Because of this situation the hotel is managed on a part time basis by Ryan who give him his due performed admirably. Our room was lovely and I will stay again but we felt we missed out due to the sinkhole situation, which obviously is of no fault of the hotels.
Great location in a stunning area by the locks on the river (but the weather being amazing, helped!) The hotel had character to spare and in beautiful well maintained gardens. Superb breakfast finished off with coffee in the garden area. The room was perfectly comfortable albeit the furnishings could do with updating to give it a top score..
Seems a popular wedding venue for very good reason!
Everything about our stay to celebrate a milestone birthday was wonderful! The hotel and grounds are beautiful, breakfast was delicious and plentiful with a wide choice of options. Staff are friendly and professional and a special thank you to Dave, the Head Gardener, who took time out to chat to us about the garden, the ancient hill fort and the best views across the Thames.
