We had a small intimate garden wedding local and decided to spend our first night as husband and wife at the Roslin. The staff was so kind to me and told me how beautiful my dress was as we left to go get married. They upgraded our room for free and made the night so special.

The general area looked very nice, plenty for kids to do, shopping good also. Our experience was below our expectations due to our hotel stay, I'm sure we would have a better image if the hotel was up to standard. Great bus services, the pier was beautiful

I went just at the start of the Easter break, and it was nice and quiet, I imagine it being a popular summer resort. Good facilities with plenty of eateries. Travelling around Southend was okay, gets busy during rush-hour. Great long walks along the esplanade and the pier. A lot of the shops were closed during close-season.

I lived in Southend for many years, this was a visit to see family and attend a family gathering. The town (I will never call it a city) is a shadow of its former self. I wouldn't go to Southend unless I had a specific reason, it just isn't as welcoming as it used to be and the high street is dead.
In the summer, short break with young children who want no more than the beach and this place would be ok. There are some decent restaurants but stay out of the town centre for those.

Going around visiting places. Eating out.
Going around visiting places. Eating out. Great taxi service. Hotel was not so good. Not disabled friendly. Fell in bathroom not built for anyone who is disabled.. Hurt myself quite bad. Screaming in agony. Apart from that. Will not be staying in this hotel again

An absolutely stunning apartment with the added bonus of a small garden area at the back.
Loved the large round stepping stones that lead to the garden from the patio doors.
Beautiful large open dining room and kitchen.
We brought our Golden Retriever along with us and he loved the freedom of moving around from the kitchen to the garden.
Great communication and the location is SUPERB!!!!!
We had never visited Southend before and really enjoyed a couple of days there, which was helped hugely by this fantastic apartment.
Amazing location, good for families!
Flat was nice and clean and had everything that you needed.
If not then lots of shops around the area to get your bits and bobs .
Beach is within distance too as well as the high st.
Zoya was amazing , really helpful, my kids loved her! She really made us feel welcome and was there to check us in.
She met all our expectations ...well done Zoya ! What a lovely person.
Perfect location for the town's central shops and seafront. Attractive apartment that matched the photos and completed by a wonderful range of modern facilities throughout. Excellent Wi-Fi. The hosts are very pleasant and helpful. No penny-pinching corners cut here and it's clear the owner has put great thought into what the perfect stay should be.
A little gem of a hotel full of character and attention to detail, both in the bedrooms and communal areas. Excellent full English breakfast in beautiful room with nice views. All the staff were friendly and everything was very clean. Good location, walkable to the seafront and Southend Central station and other attractions.
You can see that this hotel is loved by its owner. Amazing attention to detail, spotless and well maintained along with a welcoming attitude.
Nicely cooked breakfast.
Excellent location, nice view from the front of the hotel.
On the edge of the town centre and close to the beach.
Very good value price.
In a nice area of Southend called Prittlewell close to shops and a short journey either by car or public transport to Southend Victoria and the seafront isn't too far situated from the high st. The apartment is well presented and the security is very good for a short stay and met all my needs.
Breakfast each morning was lovely. The location of the hotel is great, it’s nice and quiet but within walking distance of everything such as shops, restaurants and Southend on sea’s main attractions. Lovely staff at the guest house. Overall a very pleasant stay.
Great location, lovely host and very accommodating with our stay, have stayed here before. Room was very clean, nice and comfortable and cosy, milk, tea and coffee replenished daily. Would highly recommend this quaint place in Southend on Sea.
I was having a work trip in Manchester and stayed at 4 star hotel just before I started my holiday in Sounthend. The Last Post room had much more character, better shower and bigger room. And was like half the price!
We had tickets for an event at Cliffs Pavilion so the proximity was amazing. Easy parking out front. Lots of seating in the lobby and bar area. Breakfast in the morning was nice.
