Breakfast was simple and nice. The room was comfortable and the bathroom clean and bright. And given there was an U18 rug by team along my hall. I was not disturbed at all and slept comfortably. It was so nice to have a gym for an early evening and morning workout. Even a non pro felt good in there!

The house was very well layed out with the relatively small space very efficiently maximised. The owner was very quick to respond to messages and was extremely helpful.

Extremely clean, beautiful village with pubs within walking distance. Breakfast was amazing, fresh fruit bowl was delicious. Tina was very friendly and accommodating for all our needs. Location was a 30 minute drive to Heathrow car rental. Definitely will plan to stay there on my next trip.

I liked the room, but my mattress needs changing, All the reception staff, three guys and the lady were exceptional. The guy at the restaurant (manager, cooks, bartends, and an amazing host, perhaps from the Islands), Despite the River Thames, the environment was superb. The older fellow and perhaps, the housekeeping supervisor was very helpful as well.

Marlow is a great town with interesting shops and a great selection of places to eat. As it is on the Thames there are lovely walks along the river and even a place to rent small boats by the hour. We especially enjoyed The Ivy and the delicatessen/coffee shop. The Two Brewers pub had a great atmosphere and good food.

Picturesque town on banks of river Thames.
Picturesque town on banks of river Thames. Pretty high street. Lots of choice for shopping and cafes/restaurants. Lovely walks in several directions and along with many eateries being dog friendly, it makes for a great place to bring your dog. The only down side was the large number of huge cars which made the drive over the bridge a bit slow due to these cars having issues getting through the width restrictions.

Lovely little waterside town with loads and loads of different places to eat & drink.
Lots of parking and some beautiful riverside walks to help build an appetite or walk off food.
We ate at the The Hand & Flowers and it was well worth the trip. Yes it is pricey to eat there, but we went for the fixed menu lunch which was amazing. Highly recommended for that special occasion.
It was our first visit and we will be back.

Marlow is a beautiful town, and would always recommend a visit at least once, in a lifetime. We have been visiting the Compleat Angler for 12 years, and overall recommend a stay. There is a possibility that if you return, your next stay may not be the same as the last.

Beautiful town on the banks of the Thames.
Beautiful town on the banks of the Thames. Lovely mix of town centre shops, pubs and eateries. Also comes with a large park area with pleasant walks along the river. Close to the M4 and M40 but you feel no where near the commuter highways
Immersed in the enchanting ambiance of this hotel, my experience was truly memorable. The lovely fire room, with its crackling fireplace and the comforting scent of burning wood, became the perfect setting for relaxing evenings. The staff's friendliness added to the charm, creating a welcoming atmosphere throughout. Stepping into the beautifully landscaped gardens further enhanced the overall experience. This hotel is a delightful haven, offering warmth, comfort, and a truly inviting atmosphere.
We were received by Tina on our arrival. Our first experience of a boutique hotel. Very slick! Room was cosy and clean. Good coffee & tea facilities, and snacks for the peckish. Even able to do catch-up on the TV! I liked the funky audio-visual key-code access. Crazy Fox e-mailed us several reminders of the code, so no excuse for getting it wrong! The included continental breakfast was perfect for us - Cereal, mixed fruit, proper fruit juice, yogurt, pastries, toast, spreads and hot drinks.
I had booked a room for my parents as part of our menu tasting experience for our upcoming wedding at The Compleat Angler. The staff made sure that we were well looked after from start to finish, the room upgrade was really appreciated!
i liked the rooms well decorated could of done with a better view was told they were for weddings and conferences. Also liked the lake wish coffees was a bit cheaper one coffee, one latte, one lemonade £11.
Easy parking, no fuss checking in and unbelievable cooked breakfast (rival any 5star hotel); great budget stay in lovely surroundings. Top job. Oh and electric vehicle charging on site.
Everything. The staff are friendly. The hotel is clean and beautiful. Our bedroom was more like a suite looking onto the gardens. Everyone in reception and the restaurant exceptional
Loved the staff, friendly and helpful. Loved the location, waking distance to everything in Marlow. Breakfast cooked to order. Nice selection of local beer. Nice bathroom and shower.

Perfect place for a soft landing in the UK only 30 minutes from Heathrow. Everyone made our stay so welcoming and comfortable. We highly recommend Chequers Marlow!
Overall, what i expected of the hotel because work colleagues told me about it. Rooms OK, a bit dated but OK. Hot water, plenty of pressure. Clean. Good breakfast.
Very good value for money paid. Evening meal and breakfast included in the price excellent .
Room basic but clean and comfortable.
I would recommend this hotel
Great location . Lovely staff. The room was a good size but could have done with a larger bed. The hotel is a bit dated and could do with some modernisation.
