Never stayed at a hotel that was so hospitable. Hotel staff constantly took care of us and anything we needed. They really treated us like family and brought us homemade pastries every morning that just made our day. We really appreciated our fridge was stocked with water and milk every day. The restaurant's food is amazing and the atmosphere is so relaxing. The rooms on the top floor were perfect for our stay and had beautiful views of Sheffield. The staff was so helpful at helping me get around town and give me ideas on kid friendly activities around town. Love the location of the hotel as well. You're in walking distance to the Botanical Gardens and Endcliffe Park as well as the downtown boutique shops. Matthew recommended us to visit Graves Animal Park and that was only a 15 minute drive and perfect place for children.

Partially located in the Peak District, Sheffield is best known as the setting of "The Full Monty" and indeed, vibrant Sheffield has everything: excellent shopping, great nightlife and an impressive athletic heritage.
It first became famous during the Industrial Revolution for its pioneering role in the UK steel industry. One technique invented here is commemorated in the name of its most famous theater, The Crucible, home of the Snooker World Championships.
Close by are the peaceful Winter Gardens with their multi-arched roof. The Peace Gardens are overlooked by the elegant town hall, and the focal building of the impressive Botanical Gardens somewhat resembles Crystal Palace, also by the same architect.
The city’s 2 soccer teams – Sheffield United and Wednesday – play at Bramall Lane and Hillsborough Stadium respectively. The cutting-edge English Institute of Sport is also based here, and the nearby Sheffield Arena is a prime UK venue for music and entertainment. The best shopping is found in the Meadowhall Centre near Rotherham.
Booking.com’s Sheffield accommodations include city center hotels with parking, others by Victoria Train Station, and guesthouses near Doncaster Sheffield Robin Hood Airport.
Sheffield is a brilliant place for a short visit. There's so much to do. It's a vibrant city with something for everyone – gigs, arts, countryside, shopping, people-watching. Very friendly to visitors. Plenty of trams and buses makes car-free travel easy. If you are travelling by car, allow plenty of time because it can get busy at peak periods. There is plenty of safe parking (try Qpark) but it's not cheap.
First time I'd been to a show at the City Hall, and I'm really impressed by the venue. Look up at the painted ceilings. Very comfortable seats, and excellent views of the stage.

The absolute chaos in the middle of town.
The absolute chaos in the middle of town. Why they couldn’t do one bit and finish it before going on to another part, I don’t know. There was only work being done on limited zones so planning could have caused far less inconvenience.
Also, it was very annoying that we couldn’t hail a taxi and had to walk through the cold and wet to get one and be inconvenienced by walking around all the scaffolding etc!
We loved the restaurants, however. Pizza Express was very helpful with our three small nieces and nephew. Piccolino made us very welcome and had delicious food. We also ate at Ask Italian, altogether positive.
The potholes and lumpy roads made driving around very scary.

We were visiting the Peak District for the second time and stayed at the Hilton as it worked out cheaper for the amount of time we were staying and is only a short drive away from all the countryside destinations we visited - around 20-25 minute drive

A beautiful city which despite its past economic difficulties, is recovering & thriving. The old buildings are gorgeous & the regeneration activities seem to be sympathetic to that. The people are lovely, so welcoming & cheerful. I will definitely go back for a longer visit.

Great city to walk around. Lots of parks, shops, activities.
Great city to walk around. Lots of parks, shops, activities. Try Church, Temple of fun for completely vegan good (we are not vegan) but food was fantastic and fun decor. Wilson Carlile for good value for money accommodation and fantastic location for exploring the city.
The staff were 100% committed to providing a great guest experience, especially Robert, making our stay memorable. Location was perfect for the weekend to attend a music event at the Utilita Arena and to get in & out of Sheffield City Centre using the Trams. Complementary parking for the weekend was a bonus although at £5 a day, was considered acceptable. Although we did not visit Meadowhall shopping centre, location of hotel meant it was within walking distance. Will use again if we revisit Sheffield in the future. 👍🏼😊😎
Our room was double aspect, always a bonus. The bed was comfortable. The air con worked reasonably well. The breakfast choice and quantity was good and adequate. The attentiveness of the staff was especially outstanding. The opulence of the reception, dining room and staircase was way above what I had expected. The old pictures were really interesting of the hotel when it was THE Great Central Railway Hotel in Sheffield beside Victoria station now sadly demolished. And the locomotive name plates....marvelous.
I need to call Booking.com because I chose not to stay once I saw the room. The accommodations were like a Motel 6 in the states. Not at all what I expect from a hotel in England. A Premiere Inn would be nicer than this. This was my only booking that truly let me down. After seeing the room, I immediately checked out. I was there for maybe 10 minutes, and got no refund. They said because I booked through Booking.com they could not refund me. Would not stay. Will not return.
Communication was excellent. We had 10 of us staying for a stag do and the whole house was an amazing place to stay - well presented, modern, and tidy. Location was perfect for us, less than 10 minutes walk to Sheffield city and for us the other way to a 5 a side centre where we were attending for some stag sports activities. So much cheaper than buying a hotel for the group we had!
Hotel is newly refurbished, very clean. Bed was very comfortable and room was well stocked with tea/coffee and bathroom well stocked with shower gel/shampoo/lotion/hand wash.
Bar/hotel staff were all very welcoming and friendly.
Hotel was on a good location, only a 20 minute drive from Sheffield city centre. Location was peaceful.
Lovely clean room. Bar and restaurant looked very welcoming. Staff were friendly and very understanding when we had to leave in the middle of the night as I was ill. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Sheffield but not in the city centre. Lovely country hotel and great value for money
Lovely hotel. Room was large and spotless. Bathroom was a good size and shower was good.
Only stayed one night and arrived too late to have meal in restaurant, but breakfast was lovely. Plenty of choice. Reception staff very friendly as was the young woman serving breakfast. No complaints at all.
Excellent mattress! And a very nice breakfast as well.
The location of the hotel is more than decent: easily reached by car, but next to the city centre - just a short walk from the Crucible, so no problem if the snooker runs a bit late ;-)
The EasyHotel is in a great location in the city centre, close to everything. A budget Hotel so you get what you expect - a no fuss budget hotel. I chose a room without a window and I didn't really miss the window.
Close to city centre, cheapest hotel I could find compared to Premier Inn, holiday Inn etc , staff was polite and got to check in early, rooms were big and clean , had a pleasant stay , thanks
Stylish room with nice little kitchen and table and chairs. Good bathroom. Quiet and very convenient for the city centre. Excellent cheap multi storey parking near hotel arranged by them.
The hotel is at a very competitive location with other hotels, so it’s great for visiting nearby places in the city centre. The room was spacious and modern. Price reasonable.
