Room had seen better day. Chips and cracks off various pieces of furniture and walls. Bathroom needs a make over. Towel rail basically falling off the wall. Looks like something from the 70’s. Bed and pillows were very comfortable that said

FAQs about hotels in Leeds

Stylish, Stately and A Shopping Haven!

Between Bronte Country and the Yorkshire Dales, Leeds is a stately city with a wealth of impressive Georgian and Victorian buildings. The most celebrated is the town hall, a historic gem with a huge clock tower supported by columns. Just around the corner is the understated Leeds Cathedral, and between the two is Millennium Square, a large urban space that plays host to outdoor concerts and a German Christmas market.

Shopping in Leeds is fantastic. Kirkgate Market is Europe’s largest covered market, and the magnificent, round Corn Exchange is home to exclusive boutiques. The city also has the first Harvey Nichols outside of London, as well as the usual high street brands.

As home to 2 large universities, Leeds has a young and vibrant vibe. It has repeatedly been voted the clubbing capital of the UK and is home to the Leeds Festival, an annual music event that attracts thousands.

The city also has excellent sporting pedigree. Internationals are held at Headingley cricket ground, and Leeds United FC and the Leeds Rhinos rugby league team are well-known names in their fields.

On the outskirts of the city are wonderful Roundhay Park, Kirkstall Abbey and Leeds-Bradford International Airport. Leeds accommodations on Booking.com covers all areas of this elegant city.

I stayed in Leeds but covered all the main milestones of York which is a very historic city in three days. In Leeds I saw the royal armouries which was quite good and had a very wide collection of arms from various ages and locations.

There was lots to do, and a great selection of shops and attractions. The city was very clean, and because the central part is pedestrianised it’s easy to get round. The Grand Theatre is beautiful and made a long journey very worthwhile. Lots of places to eat and drink, and lots of cultural attractions and great shopping. The old Corn Exchange is worth a visit. We had a short stay, but will be returning to explore more.

Lively bustling city with lots of great shops, restaurants and bars. Perfect for a night or two away from home. We had a drink straight from the train station at Banyan, went to our lovely hotel and then spent the night in Greek Street. Had a good time.

Disabled. Heading CC despite frequent reassurances of help from Yorkshire cc office failed totally. The entire ground does not possess a wheelchair. Even for a Test match. Ground staff were fantastic & made up for office incompetance. Should have saved £500.00+ quid & watched it on Sky! Top tip if visiting Yorkhire CC & disabled, Don't or practice getting around on all fours Yorkshire at it's best

The inculded breakfast was toast and jam and we had to prepare it to ourselves. Anyways, the place is located well, close to the city centre and the bustop of the A1 Flyer from the airport. It is quite far from the Faculties of the University of Leeds (20-.30 mins walk). It is more like a dorm, with shared bathrooms and kitchen (towel not included), but for the price it is good. You should expect bunk beds in some rooms. In alltogher it is was okay, but it is definietly more like a dorm than a hotel.

Excellent location for Leeds City centre. Lovely decor in all areas & spotlessly clean. Reception staff very welcoming & helpful. Bedroom was comfortable & spacious. Made use of the pool early morning along with the sauna and thoroughly enjoyed it.There was enough choice at breakfast & the food was to a good standard in pleasant surroundings. I would definitely use this hotel again if l came back to Leeds.

The area of Leeds around The Armouries and Tetley Wharf is being regeneratad, and it looks promising. The rooms will need a bit of a face-lift, and the bathrooms updating but the hotel is clean, the staff friendly. It's a pleasant walk to The Calls and you're in the City Centre. The walk to the car park was also very scenic.
