Well appointed and very comfortable room at a reasonable price with breakfast included in tariff. Also had dinner at Inn as it was more convenient than travelling to Thirsk. Both were good.

It's an old building with loads of character.. our room was amazing we stayed in the Dick Turpin suite which was delightful and full of character.. loved the little details.. the bed was super comfy too.. it's right in the middle of thirsk town which is a lovely place..

Room was superior to previous European hotel experiences. Spacious, with a conventional bath- not a miniature. This was built from the ground up as an hotel. Not a retrofit from a 200 year old building. Parking is easy- right out front. Quiet country setting alongside wheat fields, just outside of town. We had the continental breakfast, which was fine: coffee, juice, variety of cereal and breads, including croissants. Everything is self- serve, except the coffee- you have to wait for them to bring it out to you, in a very nice service set. Very British, of course.

Hot tub was covered. Flowers in 3 locations. Bbq was already set up as was chiminea . Double bed was super comfy and bed linens etc great . The view! Staff very friendly and informative.

The home was clean, well equipped and set in a beautiful peaceful location. The bedrooms were comfortable, the living room was very cozy and we loved the hot tub. Thank you for a much needed break away.
