The location is exactly as explained, not in Ulverston center and that was something I was looking for so it was great for me.

Very friendly people who greeted me as I walked around and/or asked for help. We were there on the night of lanterns and watched it from the living room. A strong showing of community participation. I loved it.

A quaint ,typical Lake District town.
A quaint ,typical Lake District town. Windy streets with nooks and crannies and something to discover on every corner. An awesome selection of eateries and cafes. Some like "4 penny cafe" were quirky ,friendly and the food to die for. The scenery was beautiful. The town is clean and easy to navigate. It has a Thursday market. And of course ,the Laurel and Hardy museum.

However seagulls so loud at night it was difficult to sleep, and traffic on main through road extremely busy at all times.

A Beautiful little town full of independent small shops making is quite a unique destination when most high streets are dominated by large chain stores. Lots of cafe's and restaurants to choose from. The area is full of historic sites and properties to visit.

Having lived in Ulverston for a few months in 2016, I know the town and surroundings fairly well. If you want to spend time, as I do, in a scenic area with both fells/hills and sea nearby, this could be the place for you! The town is small enough, if you want to avoid the stress and hassle of a larger town or city. And yet there are enough descent places to enjoy a good meal and/or a drink. There is a theatre/concert hall with a good programme of events, and a cinema. And there is often folk music in one of the pubs. Places to visit include the birthplace of John Barrow (mariner and explorer), a museum celebrating Laurel and Hardy (Stan Laurel was a native of Ulverston), and Swarthmoor Hall which played a key role in the beginnings of Quakerism in the 17th century. There is a fine view of the town and the beautiful surroundings from the top of Hoad Hill - just a short climb from the edge of the town.
I came to stay for a couple of days visiting family. Was the perfect location for me next to the town. Plenty of cheap parking close by. The room and bed was vey comfortable, I slept like a log . Complimentary tea and coffee was very much appreciated. Breakfast was cooked fresh from order and was fab and plentiful.
Adele and Ann were very helpful and accommodating, even when I lost my bedroom key. Still not sure how I managed to do that considering the size of the key :). All in all I had a great stay and will most definitely be back
Location was excellent - 1 minute fromm the town centre and quiet.
Facilities were superb - very much a home-from-home and fully equipped. All the essentials were also in place (dishwasher tabs, washing up liquid etc) so I hope my contribution of laundry liquid (I had muddy cycling kit to deal with) added to the stoocks :)
It's wonderful to be able to stay at this little refuge that is quiet and self contained. It's nice and simple with everything I need and I like the little patio and flowers in the shrubs. It's very near Ford Park and handy for Ulverston town centre. Would highly recommend. The hosts are very pleasant.
Our stay at this accommodation was enjoyable, largely due to its wonderful central location. It's ideally situated for exploring both the Lake District and Ulverston, with shops and restaurants within easy walking distance. Additionally, the spacious cottage came equipped with many conveniences.
Clean and comfortable room with everything you need including hairdryer, water // tea facilities and TV with streaming platforms. The breakfast was fantastic, lots to choose from. Great location, just a minutes walk from the town centre.
Layout of the property. It was clean ,bright and well appointed. It was close to the town centre and handy for the vintage cycle race being held. Ulverston is an interesting town and close to a beautiful coastline as well as the Lakes.
Great location for exploring the Lakes. Ulverston is a nice town, local shops to explore, routes to walk, ample parking and nice restaurants/bars. Quite dog friendly too. Liked the keypad access on the apartment. Bed SUPER comfy.
The location is exactly as explained, not in Ulverston center and that was something I was looking for so it was great for me.

We have stayed at Log Home Village before and find it very comfortable. Everything is very clean and the cabin is very cosy. It is in a good position, near Ulverston but quite secluded. The hosts are very friendly.
Central Location in Ulverston, plenty of space for 3 people. Good base for walking in the Lakes, plenty of pubs and restaurants within 5 minutes walk. Would recommend.
The location was central for Ulverston’s downtown location. The only problem was having to park on another street, but this is not an issue that the owners can resolve.
The apartment was excellent & equipped with everything we could need and in an excellent location being close to Ulvaston town centre shops bars & restaurants
Brilliant for 2 couples a bathroom each and toilet downstairs everything you could need parking and very close to town centre but quiet ,we will stay again .
