We were so glad we stayed at this hotel rather than an airport hotel so we were able to visit with our daughter longer before heading home. Our room was comfortable and the staff person who checked us in was warm and welcoming. I was so happy she mentioned the restaurant. The additional price for breakfast was well worth it; there were plenty of options with warm plates to choose from.

The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We also loved the location, right opposite the park and next to Hampton Court. The breakfast was really great quality and generous. We also loved the coffee machine (actual pods, not sachets).

Kingston is a wonderful area in U K. It is very colorful and vibrant, with many amenities, with mixture of diferent cultures from all over the world giving the city its metropolitan touch. It is definitely a place where I would like to live myself.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

The Mitre Hotel is a small luxury boutique hotel so I expected a lot from it and I was not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and professional. My room was spacious and elegant. The bed was comfy and breakfast was good. They even had gluten-free toasts to fit my dietary needs. The hotel is right by the Thames and the Hampton Court bridge. The view from the breakfast room is splendid and peaceful. A bus stop is 2 mins walking distance from the hotel, making it easy to go to Kingston or elsewhere.
Location: It was perfectly located for Kingston upon Thames across the river and really handy for Hampton Court Palace as it was just on the bus route making it really easy to travel
Parking: excellent parking which was also secure
Staff: all of the staff were excellent and very friendly
Room: lots of space and very comfortable with excellent air conditioning
Breakfast: lots of choice and very good quality (especially the scrambled eggs!)

This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Hampton Court, it is situated right next to The Lion Gates! The highlight for us were the staff. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We even had fresh brownie bites waiting for us! We will definitely be back!
Lovely room and very clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. The restaurant wasn't open, but able to enjoy a drink at the bar. They recommended me a good restaurant just 2 minutes walking from the hotel. Very close to Norbiton station and Kingston hospital. Coffee, a cereal bar, a croissant and cereals on the go given, as I had to leave early.
The location is perfect. Easy to drive to. Near the most beautiful parks. Just a walk from the town centre. And a walk from a train station if you were wanting to go into central London. It’s my second visit at this hotel and I just love it. The food/breakfast is great. Rooms are a decent size. Carpark is secure. And outdoor seating is lovely
The place is extra clean and well organized. The staff is very friendly, helpful and professional. The location is perfect close to shops, coffee places and restaurants. Public transportation is in front of the hotel. Kingston center is few stops by bus where are more shops and restaurants. I difinitley will come back.
Breakfast was ok, see comments below. Location was good for us as we were travelling to Wimbledon for the tennis which only took about 15 minutes from the hotel. Room was very warm but there was an air conditioning unit we used.
Bathroom small but adequate with toiletries.
This hotel is centrally located in Kingston Upon Thames. The hotel has a contemporary feel with good sized clean, comfortable rooms. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if I need accommodation in the Kingston Upon Thames area.
staff and location were excellent. Hotel a little shabby and rooms small, but considering we were still in the midst of covid restrictions and recovery the Hotel was great. I imagine, given time to recover it will be top class. I will definitely stay again.

After reading a number of negative reviews, I was afraid. The hotel and room were fine. The hotel is facing demolition though. The location is a bit daunting for those who don’t know this part of Kingston.
Accomodation clean and comfortable. Staff very polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent.Good location for access to Bus and Train routes into Kingston and London. Ideal for one night or weekend stay.
The price was good, the owners/staff were friendly, breakfast well cooked and generous, and the hotel was nice and peaceful. Walkable from the station, for easy access to London.
Well located in Kingston upon Thames. Easy walking to the river, shopping centre, Sainsburys, bus stops and train station. Host was excellent as responding to questions.
