It’s above a pub with a separate entrance but we used the pub as a “lobby” you could drink beer in. Staff was nice.
Great effort in decorating to fit the theme. Dark, warm and antlers! Nice view of part of this quaint town out one room on one side of the building. No view from room on the other side.

We chose this because we wanted to visit Hampton Court Palace. After a superb evening meal at our hotel The White Hart we went for a wander over the bridge where we discovered a lively area of restaurants & bars with a great atmosphere. Also found out about a river boat trip that could take us to Hampton Court. We were able to book tickets online for the next day. And a 5 minute walk from the hotel is a train station that takes you to Waterloo.

The location was easy to fund. I stayed to attend a concert at twickenham stadium.. I was told by the owner that I could get a bus to twickenham from outside the hotel. The family who owned it were lovely. I would stay here again for sure

Room was gr8. However figuring out the heating system took a while. The pillows were awful. The tv was absolutely diabolical. 4 channels. Totally sucked. Was with my 79yr old mum so we don’t club or pub it. Early nighters so the tv sucked. Breakfast is always lovely. 👌We were in room 211 and stayed 2nts. Jan 21st & 22nd. Hot water for bathroom was AMAZING… staff are all so nice and hospitable and accommodating. An asset to the hotel. Thanku ✅
This hotel is in a perfect location for visiting Hampton Court, it is situated right next to The Lion Gates! The highlight for us were the staff. They were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Dinner and breakfast were both delicious. Our room was comfortable, clean and well equipped. We even had fresh brownie bites waiting for us! We will definitely be back!
In town for Jubilee and Hampton Court Music festival and amazingly the Mitre Hotel was available for the Friday night in question. Ground floor room (Anne) wicked convenient and simply had to walk across the street for Hampton Court access. Train to Wimbledon right over the bridge. Amenities were wonderful and staff were so professional and attentive
The location was in the heart of Kingston upon Thames which was great as the shops were just a minute walk away. The room was a decent size and very clean. There was soap and detergent for the washing machine and the host was fantastic. Anything we needed would be arranged if it wasn't there already. The kicthen had everything needed to make meals.
The staff - especially the Russian speaking (i hope im not mistaken) lady and the gentleman who was mostly there for night shifts.
Traveling with a baby is hard already but the staff tried their best to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
The rooms were spacious compared to most hoteld in London. The breakfast was also nice.
This is the third time we've stayed in the dog friendly rooms adjacent to the main building. Huge rooms with big comfy beds and good facilities. Very happy friendly staff and good food, means this is our favourite pub-hotel in Kingston. Perfect for visiting family in the area.
The hotel has a lovely garden and is in a very peaceful setting, yet only a short bus ride away from Kingston town centre. The staff were mostly very helpful and friendly. We had a big family lunch there, and the food was very good. We would certainly stay again.
staff and location were excellent. Hotel a little shabby and rooms small, but considering we were still in the midst of covid restrictions and recovery the Hotel was great. I imagine, given time to recover it will be top class. I will definitely stay again.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times now for work, the staff are really friendly, love that they give you water, beer and prosecco in the room. Its little touches like this that make you come back. Oh and the eggs benedict is one of the best i have had.
Although we were on the top floor, the lovely gentleman helped with our baggage. Being close to parks for afternoon walks, close to Kingston Upon Thames and Hampton Court Palace. Staff were ver helpful and our beds were super comfortable.
Good hotel with clean room. Great shower, I never managed to work out the flash coffee machine in the room. The breakfast look good for meat eaters, and a bit bland for veggies. It was ok, toast and croissants, grapes.
Excellent location on the banks of the Thames and the station is just over the bridge so very easy to get into London
Old quirky Hotel with lots of history. Friendly staff and clean classic room with full bathroom
The staff were truly exceptionally pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was great as good as any top hotel I've stayed in. Not the biggest rooms or en suites but I would highly recommend this hotel as value for money.
Very clean, hotel, friendly, helpful staff. Great location for visiting both Kingston and Hampton Court Palace. Great breakfast with amazing vegetarian/vegan options.
The staff were welcoming which certainly made the stay better. It was a great location to explore London and the surrounding area of Kingston upon Thames.
