The room was really lovely with a very comfortable bed. The chocolate, biscuits and coffee maker were a bonus. The staff were really friendly and efficient especially Keith who we saw at breakfast time. The food was excellent and the breakfast was amongst some of the best we've had. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

Beautiful location overlooking the dales, breakfast was beautifully cooked. The staff were exceptionally accommodating to the needs of my elderly mother, and dietary requirements of my wife, couldn’t have done more.

The staff on the whole were really efficient and the room was gorgeous and the little touches eg lamb for do not disturb, window seat and comfortable bedding, dressing gowns and flip flops and temple spa shampoos etc. The spa was fabulous and really relaxing and made for a fabulous break and I would definitely come again.
The restaurant staff - I assume the restaurant manager (didn't get his name) and main bar staff - I think her name was Agnieszka (sorry if I spelt it wrong) were both attentive and personable and made you feel at ease.
We loved everything about this cottage.
There was everything and more you could possibly want.
Welcome treat box was wonderful. Fresh milk on arrival plus a big bottle of pure orange in the fridge too.
100% recommend.

Travelling for work, so didnt indulge in the tourist attractions. However, the town has some lovely shops, plentiful food options and bars. Supermarket shopping in town, fuel station, take-aways.
Good central location for exploring North Yorkshire.
Third stay at Juniper Cottage this year. It really is like the pictures. Beautifully decorated and furnished and super comfy beds. Has everything you need. Owner also very kindly provided fresh milk, tea bags, instant coffee and a Nespresso machine and pods as well as a basket full of chocolate biscuits, crisps and sweets. What a lovely gesture. Feel really at home here. Location is superb, right in the centre of Kirkbymoorside and close to restaurants, bars and shops. Plus there's free on street parking. Will definitely return.
This charming cottage is centrally located in the beautiful market town of Kirkbymoorside. The courtyard garden is a little oasis. It is set over 3 floors, which added to it's charm. Close to pubs, cafes and shops. A great base to travel to surrounding towns of Helmsley, Malton and Pickering, plus easy access to North York Moors, and smaller villages. Next door neighbour and her dogs were lovely, considering they live next to a holiday let, and have to accept changeover of guests every other week.
Our stay was wonderful! Our room was very nice with all the amenities shown here. Our bed was comfy and the WiFi was good. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was very good and fresh! We didn't get to have dinner there due to the chef's schedule conflict, hopefully next time. The area is quiet. Also, it isn't too far of a drive for any good pubs with good food in the area. Definitely recommend if you happen to be in the North York Moors area. Thank you.
The Cornmill was beautifully kept and furnished. The owners obviously care and work very hard on creating the right look and ambience for their property. Love how they’ve kept the original features of the mill and enjoy showing them off to their visitors.
The breakfast was exceptional and delicious. Our bedroom and en-suite were decorated and furnished to a very high standard - loved the paint colour on the walls and the vintage furniture.
The location, close to Kirkbymoorside and the wonderful North York Moorsbut secluded was lovely. I enjoyed having sheep in the field outside my room and the occasional appearance of the resident guineafowl! The room was spacious and well equipped and the bed very comfortable. There was plenty of choice for breakfast and it was nicely served. The hosts were very friendly and helpful
Lovely cottage, stylishly decorated. Fully equipped kitchen, great shower, very comfortable bed. We had no parking problems during our stay as we always found a space in the street close by. The cottage is situated in the centre of Kirkbymoorside, with easy access to pubs, shops & the weekly market. Highly recommend this property; we would definitely want to return.
Located in a small village adjacent to the outskirts of Kirkbymoorside it was very quiet and picturesque with easy access to a number of local walks. The welcome pack from the owners and facilities were excellent and the owners were on hand to hand the keys over and had heated the cottage prior to our arrival.
Beautiful property. Excellent breakfast options and very friendly and helpful owners. Good location for visiting the Yorkshire Moors area. Easy walking distance from Kirkbymoorside which has a good selection of hotels/pubs and takeaways.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. We travelled over from Middlesbrough to go to Flamingo Land for two days and decided to stay on short notice. We’ve had a great time here. Staff are lovely and friendly
enjoyed the whole stay, staff made this hotel, friendly, listened, acted straight away, Restaurant. FOOD excellent, good value, waitresses on the ball friendly polite attentive, overall service very good.
The Cornmill is a lovely, historic B & B run by friendly hosts. Our room was very comfortable and spacious. Good choice for breakfast in a very quaint dining room with a wonderful sense of style.
Breakfast was excellent. Room was so spacious. Good having a fridge, especially in this hot weather. We went on to stay in a 4 star hotel and Brickfields was much better on all counts.
