restaurant downstairs is okay. nothing special but it is convenient and the staff are nice. this is a historic building, so lots of stairs (no elevators), slanted floors, quirky details etc Convenient parking right outside. After our stay there was a nice nature preserve nearby that we were able to tour and enjoy and see a cool castle in the middle of the lake of the nature preserve. So this hotel is a good jumping off point for attractions nearby as well as the airport.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Diane at the front desk went above and beyond to make our stay memorable for the whole family. Helen was such a ray of sunshine every morning at the breakfast buffet that was included. The location is fabulous with a view of the River Taye! The bathtub in our room was huge and so great for the kids. The decor and history of the hotel is exceptional. You feel like you’re in a story book from the 1700s (in a good way)!

    The house is beautiful in a very peaceful location.

    The house is beautiful in a very peaceful location. Great hot tub and outside space too. Hosts are very kind and whilst they are a avaliable for any requests they are mindful of your privacy. It's a lovely place. Lovely little cafe in the nearest town and Loch Leven Larder a few miles away is also worth a visit. A shortish drive to St. Andrews for a visit there. We will be back for trip 4 ASAP.

    The location is good to get away from towns/cities.

    The location is good to get away from towns/cities. It suited us, as close to family we were visiting. It was very relaxing in the hotel. The only slight issue was the danger of the road crossing from car park, as traffic is deceivingly fast there.

    The breakfast and the staff. We arrived really late but the receptionist was great about it, & provided us with a dog bowl. The breakfast was delicious, and the hotel itself was quaint, we didn’t have time to try the restaurant in the evening but me and my boyfriend felt like it would have served good food given the quality of the cooked breakfast.

    Peace and quiet was what we wanted and that is EXACTLY what we got. The setting is amazing. If you want all mod cons with people running after you go to a hotel but if you want STUNNING views and tranquility then this is the place to stay. We only stayed 48 hours but left feeling relaxed and recharged.

    The hotel has very attractive ancient style. Staff was very friendly, food was great and gave us a good local experience (from what we can tell as non-locals :-) ) Breakfast was a la carte and made to order, and really great.

    Amazing cozy lodge in Glenfarg. In the middle of the amazing farm and rough nature you will find this pearl! We did love the peace and nature sounds all around us.
