Our stay at the Bridge View was spectacular from the start. The staff went out of their way to welcome us, ensure we were comfortable and our stay was enjoyable. The breakfasts in their cafe were the best we had while visiting England. The rooms were amply spacious, well appointed and felt quite secure. The environs were quiet and peaceful. The view was amazing!!
The owner was a wonderful resource for local things to see and how to get the most out of a visit to Ironbridge and the surrounding area. He clearly has a true passion for service as well as being a pinnacle for the local community.

The White Hart is in a pretty building, tastefully decorated, the rooms and bathrooms were roomy and comfortable, it is right in the heart of Ironbridge. The food was great for evening meals and the breakfast (included) was delicious and copious. Our server was cheery and charming and the rest of the staff were welcoming and accommodating.

Beautiful stay at The Library House. Sarah and Tim were very welcoming and friendly hosts and their little dog Mabel was delightful. The Eliot Room was spacious and beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the super king sized bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was generous and delicious and the nearby parking was free with a permit provided by the hosts.

We did not access the property. We knew there was no point . We had to find alternative accommodation at huge cost and inconvenience. The property was up a steep narrow road, unsuitable for people with mobility issues to walk. There was no reference to this on booking.com website. The car park was situated more than a 5 minute walk away at the bottom and over the road. This was impossible for elderly and disabled to walk to and from. Taking the car up and down would have caused stress as the road does not allow for 2 cars to pass. None of this was explained in the information. Our break was ruined because of serious omissions

This was the third time we had visited the area. Apart from all the museums there is much to see in the area, from various potteries to the Long Mind area of Shropshire - so different from where we live in rural Norfolk.

So much to see in just a few square miles - the people are exceptionally friendly and helpful. If visiting the attractions for a holiday of a few days or more, get a Pass Plus ticket to enable a year of visiting all of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage sites, with free parking at the museum sites at Blists Hill, Coalport, Jackfield and Coalbrookdale, together with reductions in the museum retail outlets and cafes. Visited twice in the past year from Manchester, once in September and again in February. Plenty of good pubs, cafes and places to eat and drink in Ironbridge too, making for a fantastic short break!

Living so close to Ironbridge I didn't really appreciate the area.
Recently I returned to Shropshire and needed somewhere to stay.
My choice of accommodation was influenced by the fact that the Robin Hood being my local when I lived in the area..
This is a lovely quirky B&B - not at all like a standard budget chain hotel. Our room 5, had comfy twin beds and had a spacious bathroom just for our use. across the corridor. A very minor inconvenience, but we were aware of this when booking. Tom, the host, was great and very keen to make sure that we were had everything we needed. He also whips up a great cooked breakfast using quality ingredients. Its walkable to the Ironbridge, though we chose to drive to the large car park just down the road. We would definitely use again.
Comfy room in historic Inn , well located near the river and within walking distance of the famous bridge + local shops. Full breakfast included at sister pub nearby, good value for money. We also indulged in an evening meal at The Swan which was a well loaded plate full at a reasonable price.
In the middle of the night all is still and quiet- we heard owls hooting in the woods across the river + the mighty Severn itself whispering past only about 15 yards away.
We only stayed one night but would definitely stay again.
The flat was very clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well.
In general it was well equipped for self catering though some kitchen scissors and a couple of storage boxes would have been useful. Also more tea towels.
An easy walk down to Ironbridge - though harder coming back up! (However the museums are quite spread out so if you want to do several in one day, you need a car).
The little sitting room was great spot for an afternoon cup of tea or a glass of wine
Beautiful location with wonderful staff.
The hotel itself is an interesting old building but our room had a newly renovated modern bathroom.
Breakfasts were simple but delicious.
The bar area was a classy place to go for an evening drink.
There were plenty of parking spaces but the walk to Ironbridge is short and extremely pleasant.
Definitely a good three star hotel. A modest renovation could easily make this a four or five star.
Lovely quirky place to stay with excellent parking. It has a central location in Broseley, very close to pubs and restaurants. We enjoyed a great Indian meal at Zengh and we visited the Butchers Kitchen twice. We recommend the Shropshire Pie at Butchers Kitchen.
Only two miles from Ironbridge Gorge.
Laura was very friendly and helpful before and during our stay.
Good places to walk the dog nearby.
landmark building in Ironbridge practically on top of the bridge. Great for access to the town and nearby attractions.
Very friendly and helpful staff.
The hotel is in the middle of a refurbishment. Our room had been completed and was fantastic - clean, comfortable, and with lots of space. Looking forward to returning to see how the project is coming along!
This hotel has character and is in a fantastic location with parking and gardens that lead to the river and is only a short scenic walk to the Ironbridge. Staff were exceptional, professional and friendly. Breakfasts were hearty, the hotel has WiFi, was very clean and has a restaurant and bar. I enjoyed my stay and would happily return to stay again.
Breakfast was not provided as self catering but we like to thank the hosts for leaving fresh milk in the fridge together with all items for us to make tea or coffee. We liked the layout of the property and everything looked fresh and new. Parking space was very near to the entrance/exit to the building. An excellent place to stay in a quiet location.
The property was in a great location for walking the trails around Iron Bridge. It had everything we needed, was super clean, comfortable and dog friendly. Laura was a warm and friendly host, who provided excellent information to set us up before and also during our trip. Easy parking too.
The location was perfect with everthing that we wanted to see in Ironbridge within walking distance along the disussed railway line/ footpath. The hosts were very welcoming and helpfull, Breakfast was excellent and the overnight stay was very good value for money.
The welcome was very friendly, the room was sizeable and very comfortable and the breakfast was all you could wish for. The hotel is situated in a great location to explore the area around Ironbridge.
The evening meal and breakfast was absolutely wonderful, best value and well presented, you would be hard pushed to find anything as good as this anywhere else in Ironbridge.
Good location, quiet but within walking distance to Ironbridge.
Very comfortable bed, good quality bedding. Nice large shower.Lee and Julie extremely friendly and helpful.
Location perfect for visit to Ironbridge Gorge and Museums. Good, comfortable lounge and kitchen area. Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Convenient for supermarket.
