Put simply, we left as much behind us as we achieved over 6 days and 7 nights, thus leaving a desire to return. The trip grew out of having spent a week in July 2024 visiting Donegal other than the Inishowen peninsula and this trip fulfilled a promise to ourselves to return and 'complete the job'.Guest review byLarryIreland - 10.0

My favourite place on Malin was Malin Head and onwards to Kinnagoe Beach which was spectacular as the weather was sunny. Glenevin waterfall and fort Dunree were both beautiful and interesting. We ate at McGrorys and also at the ButterBean in Carndonagh both excellent with great selection and value for money.. It is a world of its own with roads crossing the mountains and beauty all around. Very quickly arrive at each destination . The Five Finger beach is a well hidden beauty spot as are the Alpacas. Walking, driving, Swimming, Horse riding, cycling, Golf and the ferry at Greencastle gets you over to County Derry and Giants Causeway .Guest review byFahy - 10.0

Stunning views , I would say a car is needed as there's many areas to visit , went to the famine village , tour guide has good knowledge as his mum and dad lived it , beaches are amazing!!! Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head.
Lovely little village, gorgeous costal drive to Malin Head. Close to Culdaff beach and Five Finger Strand which are both beautiful. Wild Alpacha Way is also very close and is a fantastic day out for families run by a lovely local farming family.Guest review byniamhIreland

Everyone we met in Malin were very friendly and welcoming even when asking for directions from locals because satnav was not reliable it sent us on crazy back roads. The shop Centra we used everyday as it is a few minutes drive from the property and the young people who work there were so friendly and chatty. The views are gorgeous, and the open fire is cosy for the dark nights. There are lovely walks nearby and bars/restaurants close to the cottage. It's a few minutes' drive from Malin Head as well.
