Perfectly placed hotel (although a resort with all facilities would be a better description!), very nice hosts, fluent in English, French and Italian. We were blown away by how delicious the dinner there was! The sunset is superb, the territory has everything to just chill and stay for a day!

Beautiful, antique structure - very charming. Peaceful, gorgeous setting.
Dating back to the 11th century, Leon Bianco is in Piazza della Cisterna, one of San Gimignano’s main squares. During summer, breakfast is served on the quiet, relaxing terrace.

Lovely old building, beautifully restored.
Large comfortable bed. Spotlessly clean room and bathroom. Except for the black mould in the shower. Needs attention!
We had requested a room at the back, so it was very quiet. Though in April, after 22:00, all of San Gimignano is quiet.
Nice view of the countryside from the room.
This was our third visit to San Gimignano. Previously, we’ve stayed across the square at La Cisterna which is also excellent. However, Lion Bianco was better value this time.
Definitely recommended and we would certainly return.
