Everything was perfect. The owners were PERFECT. The unit was spotlessly clean, the bed was comfy, the AC was working great and the kitchen had all the basics we needed. They provided us with the elevator pass and check-in instructions before arrival so everything went smoothly. Also gave us some restaurant recommendations which was really helpful. The breakfast was great, also it was a huge portion so we had the sandwich for lunch. I asked for iron and they provided it immediately. They stored our luggage for a couple of hours when we checked out which was so helpful. Their cat Bibi was the sweetest. Our best experience yet.

Largest room and living room area with table full of snacks. Super nice hostess showed us everything. She called a local restaurant and made a reservation for us. For a converted apartment in a quiet building with residents also it was nice. Elevator was a bonus.

Beautiful Italian town with great restaurants and access to the rest of Cinque Terre.
It does suffer from over tourism with crowded towns and trains and the national walking trails were closed when we were there.

When we arrived, the key was not in the box outside the door. The host didn't respond! So, we made other arrangements. I couldn't believe it. I've never had a problem with a hotel or booking.com before this.

Very beautiful town a must see, however extemely high hills and steps, if you are not too fit it can be difficult to manage, there are other towns in cinque terre that are flatter and you can visit Riomaggiore for the day. There is basically one main street with shops and food area which are quite costly. As it is a small area it is very full of travellers so it can be a bit difficult to access some eateries and viewing areas.

Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre.
Riomaggiore is quintessential Cinque Terre. It is rugged and beautiful. It is a colorful, bustling fishing village full of friendly people and yummy restaurants, bars, bakeries, little shops, art galleries, etc. And it wasn't as overrun as Vernazza. We stayed on the harbor which I highly recommend. We took a sunset cruise that left steps from our accommodations. After visiting all the towns, it was my favorite, by far.

Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in.
Riomaggiore was a lovely village to stay in. I am sure all the towns in Cinque Terre are lovely to stay in. One needs to be a bit in shape to do the hiking or even ride the trains but is an adventure not to be missed! The scenery is spectacular.

Wonderful historic town and the trek options between the towns are a treat. The train also makes it so easy to travel to all the towns. We also did a boat trip from Levanto to see Cinque Terra from the beautiful blue sea. Just lovely, a real highlight. There are also lots of choices of places to eat that seemed quite economical.
The property is conveniently located on riomaggiore with parking and easy walk to the hotel. Then to walk to the station is only 5-10 minutes down the steps and you’ll reach a lift which brings you down to the station. Highly recommend this boutique b and b to any couple travelers. After a long walk sightseeing of the cinque terre, coming back to a hot tub in the room is the best. The big private balcony is a big tick to the list. Thank you the owners and staff of sunset line for all the help and excellent service during my stay. .
We have been traveling Italy two weeks, and among all the hotels,Bnb’s,Agriturismo-have to honestly say Lorenza guesthouse was our favorite stay. Genuine people are great when your traveling, and turkey she is one. Couple tips-let Lorenza know beforehand if you have big luggage don’t be like us and try to man the stairs, she will meet you at the station to help accommodate the bags, just give her a heads up. And be sure to wake up early to enjoy her croissants a focaccia with your balcony view!!Grazie Lorenza!
The location is great. In the city centre and near local shops, restaurants and 2 min walking to the marina. The apartment is very charming and the terrace is the best corner of the house. Everything spottles and with all facilities to make you feel like home.
Our host Alessandro was very nice, he gave us very good tips for our stay in Riomaggiore and the cinque Terre. He was very attentative and even let us leave later than expected. I would stay again in this place.
I loved staying in Riomaggiore. If you’re unsure on whether to stay right in Cinque Terre I highly recommend that you do it! This place had an excellent location which is quite accessible from the station (there are a few flights of stairs to get your luggage up but stairs are totally unavoidable in Cinque Terre). Communication with the host was great and the room was very clean.
absolutely everything!! This is by far the best place to stay in all of Cinque Terre! From the communication and help arriving to the clean modern room with all its special amenities (complimentary mini bar, robes, multi shower heads, beach towels, etc.), to mention the views!!! also liked being in Riomaggiore for availability of late night meals and activity. Highly recommend!
This was an excellent stay. Right at the bottom of Riomaggiore with stunning sea views as well as view of the town. The room was clean and fresh and lacked absolutely nothing. Having a fantastic breakfast brought to your room in a well stocked tray was an unexpected delight. Wish we had stayed longer despite this being our second visit to Cinque Terre.
With the apartment being directly on the main strip of Riomaggorie it definitely made it easy to get around and from town to town! It is about a 3-5 minute walk to the train station + the apartment itself was very spacious and comfortable for 2 couples to stay! Would recommend to anyone travelling to Cinque Terre and would stay again.
The location of this room is absolutely magnificent- it might have the best view in all of cinque terre! The woman who greeted us was extremely helpful, friendly etc.! We would highly recommend this room to anyone. If you can spend the extra dollars, the room with the hot tub has the most incredible patio of all time.
This property was clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated. It has a large shower which was a nice change since most showers in Italy were very small. The location was convenient to the train station and all the restaurants, bars, and shops Riomaggiore had to offer. Roberto was an amazing and hospitable host.
The attention to detail in this place is amazing - electric blanket on the bed, beach towels and umbrella, espresso machine and breakfast snacks. The lighting and ambience provides a cool haven just off the main street. No noise at night. This was the best accommodation we had in our 5 days in cinque terre towns.
The location is perfect to explore Riomaggiore and the rest of Cinque Terre. 2 great restaurants 10 metres away, the train is a 6 minute walk. The town is beautiful and this is the perfect place to stay. Thanks to Denise for being responsive and helpful. Will stay again!
amazing place to stay in riomaggore! walkable to everything including all the restaurants, the marina, and the train to get to the other cinque terre towns. room was perfect for 1-2 people. i had such a great stay thank you again!
Everything is perfect. Leandro met us at the station. Explained everything and gave full information about cinque terre. The place is very clean, very central. Everything was just perfect. Thanks Leandro!
Close to the main street with access to restaurants, shopping, etc.
Like everywhere in Cinque Terre, it required lots of stairs to get to and from the apartment, but the location was great!
Amazing host- special mention to Sandro and Stefano for helping us with luggage and showing us around. The property is at an excellent location with the best sunset views in cinque Terre.
Lovely property, right in the centre of Riomaggiore. Lorenzo (the owner) was really helpful with communication on getting access to the property and with some tips around Cinque Terre.
The location was excellent, not too much lugging of suitcases up stairs! An easy walk to everything. Of all of cinque terre I think Riomaggiore has the most charm.
Make it a point to meet the owner, Simone, down at his shop after you check in. A very nice man with indispensable information on the Cinque Terre villages.
