This hotel is very nice. We liked the staff. All were pleasant. They brought up anything you asked for. They provided coffee, tea, hand and bath towels, shower cap, cotton swabs,, hairdryer, and there are toothbrushes for purchase. There is small "cafe" downstairs but no one running it. Nice restaurant on the second floor. Food is good. The rooms are secure. You can't get to them if you don't have a card. The card programs the elevator to go to your specific floor.
Each room has a couch with pillows, and chair/desk. Outlets accepted USA plugs. Safe and refrigerator and percolator were provided. Room was modern. Bathroom area has a modern touch. Nearby this hotel were several restaurants and a convenience store.

Loved the street food and shopping on offer in Myeongdong.
Loved the street food and shopping on offer in Myeongdong.
Close proximity to Seoul Tower was also a bonus as the walk through the beautifully designed 'zen' like gardens was a pleasure every day.
Lots of cultural places to visit and I also loved my visit to the DMZ.

There are a lot of places to visit, restaurants to try, and local coffee shops to explore. They offer different shopping options depending on your preference and budget. If you like to shop for high-end luxury goods, you can go to the Lotte Department Store or Hyundai Department Store. If you like fashionable clothes, Myeongdong offers different shopping stores. The Myeongdong underground (going to the train station) offers a variety of clothes, socks, accessories, and ginseng stores.

When thinking of going to NamSan Tower, take a cab & think about a good a walk.
Traffic is horrible, but early Sunday is pretty good to get around.
Think about visiting the country side of Korea during the week days versus weekend.
If you are thinking about traveling vis train/KTX, be sure to book ahead & not from the station as the tickets may be sold.

What an incredible city.
What an incredible city. It has everything you'd want - excellent shopping, dining, and leisure experiences; impressive historical sites to visit; stunning natural parks and mountains round every corner; a fast-paced night life to keep you up until the early hours; and an efficient public transport network to tie it all together.
The location is phenomenal. On your right is the Euljiro -1 station which is where the Myeongdong shopping streets are and on your left is the Cheonggyecheon stream. The Hotel also has many local restaurants near by to help satisfy your korean food craving. The hotel also has a pub which is kinda decent, there's also a live music pub stones throw away from the hotel. Yes forgot to mention, the Hotel has a roofop garden which is excellent to hang out in the evenings, has a bunch of tables chairs perfect for that late night hang out.
Location is second to none. Staff are best I have ever seen in South Korea. Truly they went on they way to make us feel
welcomes and comfortable. They make feel at home and nothing too much of a trouble to ask. Breakfast spread is very good. I have used the business center and it was an excellent service. The rooms are very spacious and house keeping are very professional. Loved my stay and I will come back and stay in this wonderful hotel
The room was clean with all the items you'd expect from a hotel with a luxury feel. I loved the hotel room's window view, seeing all the city buildings and lights. The bed was very soft and comfortable, more than my bed at home. It was great to rest in that bed after travelling all day. The location was exceptional and I had to stay here again, less than 5 minutes from the subway and within walking distance to Hongdae St with all the shopping, restaurants and bars.
I liked basically everything about this hotel. Location was exceptional, my room was clean, comfortable and well-equipped, the bathroom was well thought out (taking a shower didn't make the whole bathroom wet) and I even got a pretty nice view. I have stayed at 4 different hotels during my vacation in South Korea and this one was by far the most enjoyable. Also, kudos to the reception staff as they were very polite and spoke English remarkably well.
We stayed in this hotel on its opening day. As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted by the most friendly staff. The hotel also smelt amazing. We stayed in a two bed room on the top floor. It was a good size, the beds some of the most comfortable I have ever slept in, with a lovely balcony and great views. So well located; by the shops, South Korea gate, palace, train station... I would highly recommend this hotel.
One of the best hotels I've stayed in. We tried 3 hotels in Seoul and this is our no.1 choice. The hotel's interior is super chic and huge space. Everything you need is there and more. Truly a luxury 5 star hotel. Every staff was friendly and helpful. The amenities are superb. The location is perfect and the subway station is literally beside it. It is a bit pricey compared to other 5 star hotel, but it's worth it.
Situated right above the Gongdeok station which is on the airport train line, the staff were lovely, helpful and could communicate in English very well. The room was so spacious with a very large bathroom with a separate bath and overhead shower. I was able to store my large luggage at the hotel for 3 days as I had two reservations planned on either side of a weekend in Busan. It was my best hotel stay in Korea.
I heard South Korean hotel rooms are pretty small so I searched until I found one that was big enough. This one was perfect for 2 guests. We had plenty of counter space and a sofa. The room was very nice and clean. There was a 24-hour convenience store in the lobby and was within walking distance of a few stations and food. It was a very lovely stay and would definitely book here again the next time we visit.
This was my first visit to South Korea (Myeongdong Seoul) with family. It was amazing and the people were friendly and helpful. We stayed for 3days and visited many places. The hotel is on the main street where you can see all the local activity and merchants. The room was very nice, clean. It was within a 5 minute walk to the Metro station and it couldn't have been a better location.
this was hands down the best hotel we stayed at in Korea! staff were amazing! room was huge and extremely comfortable as were the beds. complimentary mini bar was great! bathroom amazing! everything super clean! lication was fabulous! right on top of great restaurants and about a 59m walk to the main part if Myeongdong-gil! would return here in a heartbeat!
Very close to hongdae (6 min walk), but away from the traffic. Nice and quiet. It feels like you are at home because it is an apartment, but the price isn’t too expensive.
It’s comparable to staying at a hotel, but more comfortable. I did laundry there and there was even laundry detergent and a drying rack.
If I could live there long term, I would.
Excellent location in Myeongdong. A street opposite the hotel has many Korean bars and restaurants that are not noisy but useful for food and drinks. I stayed in a sky view double. Plenty of space and all amenities needed for a pleasant stay. Would not describe as luxury but better than basic business hotel.
Quite a spacious hotel room especially for South Korea, located near a great locals market and close to Kan Full cartoon street - off the main tourist areas so it's nice if you're wanting a break, but still very close to the metro if you want to explore and get into the more popular areas of the city
Modality of the hotel, rooms, breakfast which appeared to be a balanced combination of European and Korean styles. Location is also fine - at reasonable distance both from the Central station (for the best way to reach we recommend to use taxi and not metro for the first time) and local attactions.
A great hotel to stay at. Very clean and with all facilities you need. Not in Gangnam but there are several different bus stops 1-3 minutes from the actual hotel. A relatively quiet area but there are some nice cafes nearby. The room was spacious and equipped with everything you need (even an iron).
I live in Korea and I've stayed here a few times. This is the best hostel in Hongdae. There is an aircon so the rooms are cool. The location is great and a 10 minute walk from the station. There are steps to get to the top bunk so you don't have to climb a ladder.
A beautiful and comfortable property that me and my boyfriend stayed during our Korea trip! i would highly recommend film photographers to stay here as it is very close to the film shops and etc. Its perfect for those who love Myeongdong too.
Great little place to stay for a night in Korea. It was cheap, right next to a big night market, had a great breakfast and the staff was super nice and helpful. Comfortable clean rooms. Would definitely recommend!
The location of the hotel is very convenient, the room is clean, the staff at the counter are very considerate, and the service is warm. I will choose to stay next time I go to Korea。
Room has a window and bed was clean! They have very comfortable beds, having travelled 3 weeks in Japan and 4th week in South Korea, this hotel has the most comfortable beds!
