I have stayed here before so returned because it was very good previously. I was not disappointed returning again. The staff were very good and attentive when needed, but also left you to enjoy your own time. The facilities were very clean and functional. This isn't a 5 star hotel more 3 star but excellent value & location and the breakfast included is very good for all tastes, buffet style but unlimited food and drinks of good wholesome quality, a great start to the day. Bedroom was clean and practical and I mentioned a lack of a fridge previously and this visit I noted it was added, so they listen to feedback to improve also, which is very reassuring. I noted other guests included couples and family, though I travelled alone but everyone seemed happy and content, a good sign generally.

We stayed in the apartment was a very nice size with all amenities. The location was great and the host was amazing. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choices and homemade muffins!

We highly recommend this lovely and welcoming oasis of tranquillity, quality and care Sophia has renovated the house beautifully with no regard to expense. The rood top terrace ( with excellent loungers and a wonderful view) the pool and the dining room are excellent. Because we are biking Sophia arranged a nice home cooked dinner for us and went to a lot of trouble to make sure that everything worked well for us

Visited in August 2024 This was a fantastic place that we stayed on our way to Lisbon. This is an absolutely beautiful place in the country. It is impeccably manicured and very well kept up. The lady who runs it is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, ac was cold, wifi was fast, bed was comfortable room was big, bathroom was clean...perfect, absolutely perfect. We took time to take a dip in the very large pool that very enjoyable. We got a drink from the bar and it was quick and delicious! The lady who runs it cooked dinner for us fresh and it was delicious. It was a local dish...pork and shells with potatoes in a wine and butter sauce. WOW!!! We wish we would have had time to stay for a few days! If you are anywhere close...come and stay here...you will be very impressed and enjoy your stay.

The place is excellent; it is a calm and recharging retreat. The decoration, ambience, furniture, and pool are of very good taste and in sync with the proposal. The cherry on top is the Michelin restaurant and wines; they are simply amazing.
