Portimao was a pleasant town to stay in.
Portimao was a pleasant town to stay in. It's biggest draw is the beach, shopping/restaurants and doing a trip to the Benagil Caves. There is a cute little "train" ride that you can take as well. I feel like there could be a lot more that could be done promotion wise. Maybe some sight seeing tour booths along the main avenue. We came into town by train and used Bolt to get around. There is a lovely boardwalk with a fabulous beach . There are lots of places to eat along the way. Not suitable for someone with a disability as there are lots of steps to navigate to get down to the beach . I ate in a different restaurant every night. The food was good and not too dear. There are lots of little shops to peruse and people are very friendly. I would reiterate that the steps down to beach are not suitablle for someone with mobility issues

Portimao and surrounding area full of interesting places to visit, boat trip to Silves very good. Did trains to Lagos and Lisbon which where good. Night time Portimao was very quiet, Pria Da Rocha is the place to go, good number of restaurants and bars to choose from, some with bands on.AAnonymous - 8.0Scored 8.0
The location for the race circuit was perfect.
The location for the race circuit was perfect. Nice neighborhood and fairly quiet. Be careful of stray dogs or dogs in other properties if walking around. Security of the gates is good, however the windows (most) don't lock. The kitchen utensils are basic and the kitchen itself. The shower heads are loose and hard to control. Lighting outside wasn't working and bbq was basic. There is a bus stop at the end of the road about 200 mtrs.

The beach was great and there were plenty of shops and restaurants in the area. There is a bus from the beach area to the central square but then you have to walk a short way to the train station. Having a train from the beach to the train station would be excellent.

One of the managers noticed our family admiring the old pictures of the hotel near the stairs and walked up to us to explain us the history of the hotel. On the day of check out, not only we were able to store our luggage but also use the hotel shower and towels after spending the day at beach before heading out to the airport. We enjoyed our holidays and will definitely return soon.

The hotel was spotlessly with really comfortable rooms with plenty of space. The bar was open till 12 which we found great for a night cap after strolling back from a meal just down the road. The location is amazing with some of the best view points and beaches just outside of the hotel and only a short walk from the bars and restaurants. Although I did not took breakfast they offer breakfast and there is a kitchen that can be used by the people who have a reservation. The location is excellent it's near the beach and city centre also 15 minute walk to the shuttle bus service to Motogp at Aurodromo Internaciol do Algarve. This must be one if the best price/quality value accomodation in Portimão.

Don't suffer like me, use Uber or a taxi from the beginning. And the location and cleanliness of the accommodation was really top notch. Spacious and comfortable, nice swimming pool, will definitely come back to Algarve. The best part was the time we spent on the sea view balcony. Highly recommended.

We relaxed by the pool and the hotel even had their own access to the beach. One of the highlights of our stay was dinner at their Vista restaurant. What an experience! We can’t wait to come back next summer!

Liza was very friendly and caring, probably one of the best hosts I have come across since using booking.com I will definitely book again when i come back to portugal. The apartment view was beautiful I must say i was quite surprised because you can watch the sunset from the 10th floor.
