The staff was friendly upon check in. The valet guy had a great sense of humor (“Just tip me $100 tomorrow.”) with a fantastic memory as to which car was ours despite the hotel being full. Staff responded quickly to a burned out light bulb and missing hair conditioner. Great location close to the Convention Center. Will return to this Hilton.

This Hotel is in the Perfect Location and not to mention BEAUTIFUL! Right in the middle of the main attractions of Bourbon Street and walkable to the French Market and Art District amongst all the good restaurants. Not to mention or room was much bigger than expected and the bed was so comfortable. Our room overlooked Bourbon Street and wasn't to noisy at all. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are planning a trip to the French Quarter. If we ever decide to travel to New Orleans again this will definitely be where we stay. Don't hesitate to book this place!

The home of jazz, intriguing New Orleans evokes images of Louis Armstrong, wrought-iron balconies and mouth-watering Cajun cuisine. Louisiana’s largest city, the Big Easy is the beating heart of the Deep South.
Dance down Bourbon Street, where jazz saxophones ring out of traditional bars mixed with more colorful nightlife and entertainment venues. There are several New Orleans hotels near Bourbon Street, spread around the French Quarter with its distinctive Creole architecture.
To the south is Jackson Square, dominated by St. Louis Cathedral. Horses and carts wait patiently by the square, and locals set up their stools and start playing catchy tunes. Just behind is the legendary Mississippi River whose waters are still plied by paddle steamers.
From the river you get great views of the CBD (downtown) skyscrapers and the Louisiana Superdome. Booking.com has several hotels nearby, including some on Canal Street, where streetcars and the famous New Orleans Mardi Gras carnival pass down.
In the northern suburbs is New Orleans City Park, one of the oldest US parks and larger than NYC’s Central Park. Waterways lining it flow into large Lake Pontchartrain bordered by a bayou.
Fun city to visit! Lots of site seeing. Don't miss the WWII museum, Aquarium, French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Preservation Hall, and parks. I wanted to see New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA), Sculpture Garden and Botanical Gardens, but weather did not cooperate. The city is easy to get around and it's very walk-able. Lots of awesome food and treats galore!
Tip: Take bus 202 from airport and save yourself $40 each way!
p.s. T-shirt at airport said NOLA is for LIVERS! ha ha

I love the city of New Orleans.
I love the city of New Orleans. The people are friendly, and the music is great. Then don't let me forget to mention the food. Everything was good even Panda Express taste better than mine from back home (Tennessee) lol. I didn't feel uneasy there of course I was watching my surroundings when out. In my opinion it's not as bad as people make it seem. I'm a single female who traveled solo to meet some friends. I felt just fine walking around by myself before I met up with everyone else.

Do the ghost tour & swamp tour.
Do the ghost tour & swamp tour. Listen to the locals when they tell you were the best places to eat specific food is. They're always 10/10. I would come back just to do brunch at Ruby Slipper again. The people of New Orleans are the salt of the earth and their kindness is infectious even to us often cold northerners.

The hotels location was absolutely incredible could not have asked for a better place in that regard the ambience and character were wonderful. It is an older hotel. That is well taken care of with a wonderful interior courtyard. The staff was amazing and overall, I really liked it and would go back myself. One other thing they have parking about a two minute walk from the hotel, which is a real plus.
The only issue we had was there was no elevator at this hotel, and it was not prominently announced when you reviewed it on the website. I was traveling with a family member with severe COPD and we had to traverse three flights of stairs to get to our room. I had sprained my ankle several days before on our trip and it was a severe sprain and getting up and down those stairs was very difficult. If you have any issues with breathing or mobility, this is not a place for you otherwise I would recommend it wholeheartedly.

We stayed in the French Quater, which was perfect.
We stayed in the French Quater, which was perfect. I really enjoyed the steam boat trip and the Oak Alley plantation. We did do the plantation ourselves and the Steam Boat as it is cheaper to do online.
This is a well located and very beautiful property. Having a small fridge in the room and access to a microwave oven really helped my somewhat long stay in New Orleans. I only needed to walk one block and I had access to a streetcar that would take me downtown and the French Quarter. The staff there was friendly and very helpful in getting me checked in and out during strange hours. One employee waited over an hour past their shift to get me comfortably into my room upon my late arrival.
Spot was authentic.
The hideaway was so perfect for a new orleans visit and stay. Kitchen washer and dryer spectacular to have
The bed was comfy the space was awesome
We had 2 adults and 6 kids and all were cozy and comfortable.
Everything was near us French quarter burbon st etc
Loyd was great
We would love to stay here again and again or even own the property lol..
5 stars and above was the best first time experience of new orleans for my kids .. thanks Loyd
The location, staff, breakfast and facility are the best. All the staff are very friendly and ready to help with anything. The room was very spacious with a kitchenette. The hot breakfast was very generous. check-in and check out was quick. If you plan to take a cruise, the location is the best for both walking distance to the French Quarter and walking distance to the cruise port. It is in a very safe and quiet area. One the best hotels that we have ever stayed.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. Hostel is located near the beautiful Garden district, and easy to get to French Quarter by foot or tram. The hostel itself is clean, spacious and well decorated. Lucia and Robert, the owners, love what they do in life. You feel like you are visiting relatives, that are always opened to hangout with you and show you around. It was the best hostel experience in my life.
The Hotel was awesome.. We stayed in the one bedroom suite.. It exceeded our expectations.. The roof top pool was a total vibe..! It’s in a great location.. Walking distance from Bourbon street and French quarter.. The staff was amazing and very helpful.. I felt very safe because I’m always paranoid whenever I’m in New Orleans but this time I felt very safe.. Overall great hotel and I had a great trip..
The location of this hotel is AMAZING just a short walk across Canal street and you are in the heart of New Orleans- 15 minutes to Jackson Square/Cafe Du Monde/The French Quarter.
The bed was extremely comfortable and the decor of the entire hotel was so well done- little details like the shower curtain were even considered. I would absolutely come back here again!
The hotel was located in the heart of the French quarter within walking distance to Bourbon and Royal street and the Ruby Slipper Cafe. We enjoyed taking a dip in the pool (we traveled in the middle of August!) after exploring New Orleans all day. The front desk staff was spectacular. Maurice was always helping us with the stroller and any questions we had.
Excellent location. Some parts of New Orleans are very noisy in the evening but the Dauphine hotel is a bit further out making sure the peace and quiet was maintained during the night.
Staff very helpful.
Bedroom had plenty of space for storing suitcases if on a long holiday.
Ideal location for walking around the French Quarter
The hotel is an older facility but is located in the heart of the French Quarter. We had an interior room which cut down on the street noise, which can be considerable at night in New Orleans. The room was comfy and had everything we needed. The one breakfast we ate in the hotel restaurant was OK but not fantastic.
The hotel is located in the Warehouse District - a good location for accessing many parts of New Orleans on foot - including the WWII museum (5 min walk), Canal Street, Bourbon Street, the water front and the French Quarter (20 min walk). There are also some nice restaurants nearby for dinner and lunch.
A wonderful suite with two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen. Felt like an apartment, not a hotel. The decor was very New Orleans with brick walls. The hotel is about a block from Canal Street. Great location for the French Quarter, Superdome, and Jackson Square.
This is a great place to stay in central New Orleans. You are only a few blocks from the French Quarter, but the hotel is in a quieter, cleaner neighborhood. The rooms are immaculate; beds extremely comfortable. The lobby is bustling, but the rooms are in quiet hallways.
The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. The hotel is within waling distance (30 mins) from the Convention Center and close to the French Quarter. Service was prompt and professional. Would recommend for both business and leisure trips to New Orleans.
This place was fantastic, and the staff were all very friendly. It was my girlfriend's first time in New Orleans and she really loved this friendly hotel, and being right on the edge of the French Quarter really made it a great spot to explore from
The location is perfect for easy access to the French Quarter but in a more quiet setting. The hotel was developed in the old French Alliance building in New Orleans and has charm and ambiance.
It is a very beautiful hotel, tastefully furnished and with a comfortable location just outside the French Quarter. Nice little pool for a refreshment after a long day exploring New Orleans.
The staff at the Chateau in New Orleans were like guardian angels, always there when you needed them, and its location near the French Quarter was icing on the cake
Historic Hotel with a lot of ambiance. Hardwood Floors. 14 Ft Ceilings. Quiet location east of the French Quarter. The walk to nearby restaurants and music.
