The location is way outside of the town up on a hill on a dirt road. It is very hard to get to if you are walking the St Francis Way. So your only real option is to eat dinner there. The dinner was not good. They gave me my steak dinner right away but did not bring out my wife pasta dinner for another 30 minutes. When she got it I was already done getting for a while plus her dinner was cold. Not a good place to eat. They did not say they were sorry or anything like that. Better options in town if they are not all fully booked.

The place is really very pleasant and welcoming. The location is a bit far of the center of Tuscany, if you want to be at one place and travel every day (star trip) you should know it's a lot of traveling. There is a very special restaurant in the place, Anna and Orlando who run the place are extraordinary! A great asset to the place. We had a wonderful time !

An amazing stay in Pontassieve!!! We traveled for almost three weeks in Italy and this was by far our favorite place! I don't even know where to start! Laura is the most caring and welcoming host you can imagine, willing to share her beautiful, fully equipped with anything you may want during your stay, apartment. She makes you feel welcome! Very comfortable mattresses, so we slept very well. Nice kitchen and all the details in the unit that made our stay so enjoyable! Great terrace with a view in the front to enjoy and smaller balconies by each bedroom. Laura is fluent in English and had lots of patience to answer any questions we had. Either Laura or her family is always there if you need any assistance. Free parking is right there on the other side of the road. The location is very convenient for visiting Florence and the surrounding areas. It takes just 10 minutes to get to a train station if you are going to Florence. Parking is free and a one-way ticket to Florence is less than 3 euros. 30-minute walk to the center of Florence. We truly enjoyed the quiet and relaxing location of La Casa de Li Li! I would love to come back!

The location is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was friendly and accommodating. They helped us get our luggage to the guest house where we were staying. We spent time by the pool had a delicious lunch walked around the grounds and then had a amazing dinner. I wish we had booked more nights. This is a place I would definitely visit again. We also had a good breakfast the next morning.

It was very spacious and clean and it had a nice pool with a lot of seating
