Absolutely loved the cute cosy cabins and remote location to get away from it all. The staff were warm & accommodating. It snowed a lot when we were there so we had a true snowy wonderland experience.

It was waaay beyond my expectations - even though it's right next to the Icefield Parkway it gives you the feeling of remoteness and kinda going "back to the basics" - no shower, very limited internet access, in the middle of the woods, next to a beautiful river and also includes a sauna. The manager makes it even more moemorable with his dedication, passion, knowledge of the area and sense of humor ;-)

I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.

The Lake access can be difficult due to the massive crowds Lake Louise, such that hundreds of people walk 1-2 miles uphill just to get to the lake, because parking lot is full by 8:00 AM. There is a reason for this - possibly the most beautiful mountain setting on earth, with dozens of iconic hikes within minutes of the area.

As someone who visited Lake Louise in 2007 the experience was different at that time we could drive right up to the hotel and that makes it a difficult for people with disabilities. The lake is still just as beautiful as it was back in 2007 also we felt That it would be a good experience to be able to walk through your fabulous Fairmont hotel, which we were unable to do this time.

What an amazing hotel! The staff are amazing, the location is beautiful, we had a room over looking the lake and the view was like a painting! Restaurants have lovely food. If you are visiting Lake Louise I wouldn’t recommend staying anywhere else, we could enjoy the lake at our own pace once most of the day visitors have left and the hotel organises shuttles just for guests to other popular sites like Moraine Lake for a reasonable price.

Staff were amazing and went out of their way to help, even lending their personal items if we didn’t have something. The cabins were nicely appointed with modern fittings while retaining their charm. Like most of Lake Louise / Banff you could hear the trains but it was never an issue. The rest of the time it was very peaceful.

We had an adequate time here. Lake Louise is very touristy and a small town with not a lot to do except for the lake. In hindsight 3 days was too long to stay here. We had some great food at the outpost pub and Lake Louise Inn. The boys loved the hottub and the steamroom. The frontdesk staff was really sweet and friendly.

The Lake Louise Inn is VERY unique, in that it has not only preserved the original high quality Character of this build of over 50 years ago, but has modernized the extensive buildings, and main Lodge, beautifully ! The Staff is Wonderful !! The cleanliness is exceptional, including the super pool and 2 hot tubs.
