We stayed for a friends birthday and right upon entering felt like queens. We received and upgraded room and champagne and cake waiting there for us. The front desk greeters were kind and helpful, gave us a glass of champagne to take with us up to the room. And help was only a text away if we needed. The room was dark and quiet at night. Everything was clean. Beds were super comfy. And the heated floors in the bathroom was icing on the cake. I would 100% recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Toronto.

    Extremely nice people, Canadians.

Extremely nice people, Canadians. Recent immigrants can do a lot better in customer service and friendliness, they should be happy to live in such a great country, but many (esp. from Eastern European and Asian) fail, because not fully canadianized. Fortunately, there are exceptions, like the Chinese Scotiabank bank manager on Dundas and Spadina. He was efficient, helpfull, understanding and effective. He was the best embassador of Canada to me and made my day.

Interesting destinations, diverse population, courteous drivers, and gorgeous architecture. We enjoyed the hop-on-Hop-off bus to provide an overview. The downtown is very walkable. The Acquarium is a must see. We also booked a day trip to Niagra Falls which was a lot of fun.

This was my first trip to Canada and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised by Canada and the Canadians. All the people I met were very helpful and polite. The hotel was excellent, the room was comfortable. The bed was huge but you can't open the windows which is a shame. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Even though my English was not perfect. If I ever travel to Canada, Toronto, again, I will definitely stay here again.

the location is amazing. It is in the Heart of Downtown Toronto with very easy access to nearby restaurants and shopping locations. The staff at check in are very friendly and professional. The rooms are very neat and clean; however, I did not see an In-room dining menu in the room. I never found one throughout my 5 days stay at the hotel.

Renting a student room is so a good option to stay in downtown Toronto for a fraction of a hotel price! A lot of choices at the breakfast buffet. Know that shared fridge and microwaves are available on your room floor and not in your room.
