1 hour from, Peak District National Park. Snake pass, Bakewell, Marlock/ Cable car ride up to Abraham Heights. Sheffield. All within Barnsley areas. Good routes out, easy to get to , quite quickly. Had a great stay.
Had a great stay. The only problem was that the tv in my room said, no matter the price you would get a breakfast and complimentary drinks. The first day of my 3 day stay they honoured it but the second and 3rd day they wouldn't. I thought this was poor and it still gave this information ot on the tv.Guest review byPaul - 10.0

As Secretary of a fancy pigeon club a group of us travel to Barnsley for the Country's leading show which is held at the Merrodome. A great place to stay.
A great place to stay. We were a little worried when we arrived as a wedding was being hosted on the day. However, our worries were unwarranted as the event (and afterwards) were separate and quiet from the remainder of the hotel and guests. The room was excellent.
