Everything. It was clean, bed most comfortable I've slept in. Good was excellent, fresh cooked. Hostess went out of her way to provide anything we needed and went out of her way to be helpful. We had our dog with us and there was a little blanket left for her use, a packet of treats and a cold sausage for breakfast. Nice touch.

Lovely walks by the river, Interesting town very easy to walk around and see all. The Crown very good for lunch and evening meals. Plenty of interesting places and beautiful coast to visit nearby, Spoons teashop excellent tea and scones,
What a lovely market town with a superb fashion museum and the beautiful Trailway walk or cycle (ca 8 miles) that passes the door of the Crown Hotel. The Crown Hotel is perfectly situated to visit Blandford Forum and has onsite parking. We ate breakfasts and dinners in the Crown hotel, with a good choice of excellent food, and we enjoyed a lovely lunch in the Yellow Bicycle cafe. The trailway route is a great length although note that the last 1 mile is along the road.
We only saw a limited area but most was very interesting incl the nearby River walk. As with most towns there are some limited mediocre takeaways etc which blight the street scene a bit but surpassed by the character and beauty that abounds. We are sure there was loads more to see if time and fitness had allowed.
We have visited Blandford Forum many times and have always found plenty of interesting things to do and places to visit. Bradbury Rings are a wonderful walk. A pleasant and friendly British Legion in the town
Don't expect too much of what is simply a pleasant and lively Dorset market town but it is a well placed base to visit the East of the county. A visit to the surprisingly informative and comprehensive Royal Signals Museum nearby could provide an extra attraction.
We liked the bakery on the main street and the Crown Hotel. Food at the Crown in the restaurant was very good for Sunday lunch and service was a bit erratic but friendly. I'd recommend a visit to the Hall & Woodhouse brewery
The uniqueness and charm of the farm, the amazingly friendly owners and the wonderful shepherds hut. The hut had superb views and was rustically beautiful with touches of perfect luxury.
