Absolutely, everything was perfect! The owners, Sue and Paul, are very nice, helpful and social :-) Clean room, very comfortable bed, lovely garden, ..... We will definitely stay in this little gem when visiting the area again. We gladly recommend The Den :-)

Just perfect. You will not find an apartment or hotel at this level. What is good about the apartment: 1. A very spacious apartment. 2. There is simply everything in the apartment: washing machine,Clothes Dryer, laundry materials, refrigerator, stove, pots, plates, cutlery, free food in the refrigerator, free cornflakes of several types, Iron, several types of free coffee, eggs fruits butter orange juice and milk. 3. There are many sockets in the apartment, including USB sockets . 4. There are many cupboards, storage space and shelves. 5. A huge simple shower with all kinds of soaps. 6. Strong internet with mesh networking 7. Lots of free parking super pampering apartment and highly recommended. We will definitely come back here again.

    It's a very cute place and in close proximity to some lovely beaches. Lovely scenery and lots of independent shops as well as some of the larger supermarkets. Reasonable bus service if you don't want to drive.

    All the amenities you need in a very pleasant village and we used both restaurants recommended by our hosts which were also great, one of which we used for both breakfast out and an evening meal (Duck Dive - highly recommend) We were playing golf at Saunton Golf Club so Braunton was a great venue for this being just a 5 minute drive away

    Lovely walk all along the beach.

    Lovely walk all along the beach. Beautiful walk along the coastal path to Croyde and Baggy Point. Tranquil stroll along the River Caen from Braunton and then on through Braunton Burrows. Three great days out. Wonderful picturesque pub with a great carvery on Sunday: the Williams Arms.

    Braunton was a lovely little town There were some very good eating places small cafes and some very interesting shops and a surfing museum The parking was very reasonable There was a small market on a Wednesday and Saturday with some delightful stalls of jewellery hand made items and superb cake stall We had a very good meal on our last night in Squire’s Fish restaurant which was highly recommended and rightly so

    Nice middle England type village.

    Nice middle England type village. Very pleasant with generally friendly people. Dogs welcome almost everywhere! Great Fish n Chip shop & restaurant (Squires) and several bars and pubs - the George is large & welcoming with a good choice of food. There's a small Co-op supermarket and various butchers and bakeries. Only one coffee shop, which isn't enough for the number of visitors! There's a gift shop, one or two cloths shops and a charity shop along with a large ironmongers/garden centre absolutely full of useful items such as camping and BBQ stuff. The main roads in and out get very busy. There's a reasonably priced car park and medical centre, along with a useful tourist info centre. Probably the best thing about Braunton is it's very close to the wonderful quaint village of Croyde and the surfer's paradise beach at Croyde Bay!

    The SSH is nearer to Croyde and about three miles from Braunton itself which is inland, but the town itself is very pleasant (twinned with Plouescat in Brittany in France) and has some nice shops and two good restaurants. The 21C bus runs once an hour from Barnstaple to Saunton, Croyde and Georgeham via Braunton.

    This is a beautiful cottage in a great location. High spec and comfortable interior makes it feel like a boutique hotel. We only stayed 2 nights for a wedding but I would return for a longer time. Right in the centre of Braunton and a car park minutes away for only £6 a day payable through an app makes it very easy to come and go as you need.

    Lovely, comfortable cottage, beds were super-comfy. Clean, very nicely decorated. Close to centre of Braunton, perfect for hopping in the car abs driving down to Saunton Beach (15mins), Croyde and Woolacombe (20 mins). Highly recommend.
