Lovely welcoming staff in what is not dissimilar to a TravelLodge or Premier Inn-style hotel. The food is basic but good value. They obviously serve families on a regular basis and there are facilities for children's play outside or for parties inside.

The village shops at the Cross.

The village shops at the Cross. I have a relationship with Bromborough Pool Village as My Grandparents raised 16 children in one of the original houses so visited my grandparents numerous times. My Dad and Uncle worked at the now demolished factory Prices owned by Unilever but formerly Prices Candleworks. My sister and I attended the factory s Christmas party for employees children in the village Hall.. I was so pleased to see the cricket pavilion and field too.

I am currently between London and Liverpool as my daughter is expecting a baby and currently living on the wirrel The hotel was perfect for me I will be back again in the next 2 weeks once baby arrives Staff were friendly , helpful and understanding I added an extra night at short notice which I needed help with but nothing was too much trouble

Very outdated facllities .

Very outdated facllities . Needed enhanced cleaning of room and maintenance needed eg loose plug sockets stained shower curtains and poor drainage in sink . Cobwebs on ceiling and stains on wall . Main lights not working . Not worth the money charged

Bromborough, where I grew up as a child, is an ideal...

Bromborough, where I grew up as a child, is an ideal location for visiting the local towns of Chester and Liverpool, as it is located on both train and bus networks, with frequently running services at very reasonable fares. The historic town of Chester, the Lady Lever Art Gallery at Port Sunlight, and Liverpool City Centre, with it´s many tourist attractions are all within easy reach. Bromborough itself, has a large shopping centre, just outside the village, but within easy walking distance, as well as the original village centre, with a wide range of shops and restaurants.

Daughters boyfriend from the area so we travel from...

Daughters boyfriend from the area so we travel from Newcastle to meet up with him and his family from time to time. Take aways, restaurants, shops close by, easy to get around Bromborough by bus or car also easy access to buses and trains into Chester and Liverpool City centre. The Croft ideal for shopping.

The hotel was much more dated than expected. It could do with a little TLC if I’m honest. The room was clean, but basic. A lick of paint or renewing the tile grout could make a massive impact! Staff were all very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was lovely. Unsure if I would stay again though. It definitely felt a little abandoned.

We stayed at the hotel for 3 weeks. The hotel was relatively comfortable. On arrival the room was located in a quiet zone which was ideal. The room had most of the facilities to meet our needs but not all we would have expected in a hotel like this
