It was just a lovely stay , you need a car to travel about and explore beautiful towns near to congleton . I enjoyed holmes chapel which wasn’t far. The food in the Swettenham arms was very nice . Also the. Red lion too if you want basic meals. I’m sure there are lovely walks but didn’t get that far as it was much too cold went I went . My husband was stuck on motorway after a lorry had an accident on the morning of being picked up. They allowed us to stay in our room till he got to us. Also was upgraded as my mum is 72 and we was originally on 2nd floor they brought us down to 1st floor. They went above and beyond would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely book again.
