Loved the personal story behind it and the history even down to seeing historical pictures of it. Vince met us at the door and gave us a great little tour and some history of the cottage which was very interesting. It felt personal, unlike other stays we have had.
The place was so cosy and warm. It has everything you would need to cook and meal and store food (we didn't do this but the option is good). The sofa was comfortable and had an extra blanket for extra cosyness (but trust me it's perfectly warm without it). It was cold when we were there but there was plenty of seating outside for the warmer months.
Love the coffee machine and a little welcoming gift & sign from Vince & Mairead - those simple touches you don't get everywhere. A television in the lounge and a television in the bedroom was good too.
And a big hot tub! It's fits 6 people and even a little chimnea if you want to make a night of it.

Lovely old (very old - historic) country farm house. Proprietor is a lovely English woman who was extremely friendly and even went out of her way to make us gluten free goodies for our room. Very clean and well kept inside. Proprietor went out of her way to make sure we were happy. Breakfast was very nice

Arlene is a wonderful host and was friendly, communicative and warm but not intrusive. The B&B is clearly signposted from the main road. Check in was easy and quick. Rooms were immaculately clean and bed and bedding were very comfortable. Breakfast was very tasty!
