Located in Fairford, Luxury medieval barn in Cotswold town center features accommodations with a patio and free WiFi. The property has garden views and is 27 mi from Gloucester. I booked this accommodation to spend Christmas with my partner and it was the perfect choice. The property was beautiful, cosy and immaculately kept, with attention to every detail. It is located near amenities and a stones throw away from the local pub, where we ended up having our Christmas Day lunch. Luciana, whom I emailed several times prior to our stay, was extremely helpful, courteous and prompt in responding to all my queries. There was a very nice complementary basket of snacks, drinks and Christmas crackers on our arrival, which was a lovely touch to get us into the festive spirit. In addition, Luciana has messaged us to check on our stay and to wish us well after our departure. I would not hesitate to recommend this charming property and Luciana.

The house was cosy, clean, spacious and beautifully equipped. With a great little local store at the end of the road, a kids’ adventure playground opposite and a wonderful pub/restaurant a 3minute walk away, this was a fantastic place for a weekend break in the beautiful Cotswolds.
Nice friendly town, with plenty of places for a nice meal or a quiet drink. Ideal base for exploring the area & as it is quieter than some of the other towns & villages so it is a lovely place to relax & unwind.
There is a lovely market on Wednesday mornings, which I picked up some great cheese and fresh strawberries for a picnic lunch. It has a great cafe which makes delicious coffee and fresh bread (which I also purchased for my picnic lunch. It is a short drive to most places in the Cotswolds. My stay was perfectly located with parking right outside and additional parking less than a 5-minute walk away.
All the necessary amenities in the local area. The Italian restaurant and Indian takeaway were both excellent during our stay in July 2020. The local Londis store is very well stocked for essentials. Great place to stay to explore the Cotswolds.
Fairford is a quaint English town in the Cotswolds. St Mary’s church was very thought provoking. The walk along the river Coln was peaceful. We visited the local pubs and everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble
Tudor Cottage was in a excellent little village. Lots of lovely walks. Lots of villages to visit. Every one we met was friendly. Looking forward to going again. Only issue was parking. There was no parking near the cottage, however parking wasn't to far away. It did not cause us any problems
Typical Cotswold village. For places to eat, apart from the Bull Hotel, we saw one Italian restaurant and some take ways. So the choices for eating out were limited. St Mary's church is worth a visit. Lovely riverside walks.
