The place was easy to find.
The place was easy to find. The gravel road leading up to the accommodation is fine, despite what other travellers say. If your car has got a second gear, you’ll be fine. Upon arrival at the yurt, I was surprised how much personal space you have and it is cleverly secluded. The whole aspect of the garden surrounding the yurt sends to be surf facing, so there’s plenty of sunshine in a nice day. Super little town with great cafes and independent shops. Beautiful old bridge with lovely walks alongside the River Dee. It's busy during the Eisteddfod but you can still get around and find places to eat and drink. Lots to do beyond the festival including a ride on a heritage railway, the peaceful environs of Plas Newydd - learn about the Ladies of Llangollen and explore the house they created. The canal and nearby aqueduct of Pontcysllte (world heritage site) well worth a visit and you can take a trip on a horse drawn barge if you want to relaxGuest review byLizzie

The room was very clean and tidy and the TV worked for a change. On Sunday, the choice of cereals was massive. I had a cooked breakfast and this was good. It’s up a quiet side street with plenty of parking at the rear of the property. The room was warm and there was plenty of hot water available. The hotel was clean, the staff very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was superb. It’s a buffet but all the cooked food was piping hot which was a pleasant change compared to many hotels.
