The proprietors Euan & Emma were excellent company and very attentive to guests' needs. The hotel had an excellent menu with accompanying wines, beers, spirits, if required. The hotel also had an extensive range of locally-produced spirits. The accommodation was excellent and well-equipped. If you want a spiritual retreat full of candles and incense in a quiet location, then this is for you. With no Wi-Fi, this is a place to come and escape. And not one touristy picture of a Highland cow to be seen - what a joy! The owner Fred, is a breath of fresh air. Loved the spacious rooms and very comfy king size bed. A beautifully renovated 200 year old hotel, fantastic bar, lounge and dining area. The food was truly delicious, but best of all were the amazing hosts, Emma and Euan. We loved spending the evening in the bar and lounge area discussing life with both Emma and Euan, topped off with some educational whisky tasting.
