The room was better than expected, I was big and well furnished. Everyone I came in contact with was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was tasty and fulfilling (you have to choose yhe time and item the night before).

Beautiful location, lovely house, comfortable rooms & superb breakfast. This place is a real gem & easily walkable to the sites and city center. The staff is also lovely, attentive & kind - my friend left something behind & they graciously posted it to us in Edinburgh. A must stay!!

We liked the location, so much more quiet than Edinburgh. The deal was really good, breakfast was ok - having warm food during that cold weather was key for us. We also had dinner there for the 2 nights spend, the food was good (a bit pricey though). You can have a walk through the Bannockburn Battlefield which is right behind the hotel. I highly recommend the National Wallace Museum from Stirling as well.
In a former farm building, the Hillhead Lets provides large bedrooms and free Wi-Fi. Located in Bannockburn, the famous battlefield is close by.

Spacious room with comfy bed and en-suite bathroom. We very much enjoyed having a work desk in the room and the tea station (always appreciated). The location is remote and quiet - we were slightly concerned about the construction works right next to the property, but didn't hear any of its noise. No issues with parking at all. There is a restaurant across the road which we didn't try but it's great to have the food option nearby despite the somewhat rural location. The host is very lovely and helpful!
Set on the slopes of Ochil Hill, the 19th-century Broomhall Castle Hotel features charming rooms, some with four-poster beds. The historic city of Stirling is just 5 miles away.

The view from the room was beautiful, with a corner window as a bonus.
The location was perfect. A five minute walk to the town jail and 10 minute walk to Stirling Castle.
The old building was very interesting.

Most shocking experience of any holiday when we were unable to access accommodation we paid for through Booking.com. Don’t use Booking.com. They did not help us and we had to find and pay for alternative accommodation.

Stirling is a lovely area.
Stirling is a lovely area. The castle is really interesting but there is a lot of walking on cobbles. We are getting on a bit so found it a bit uphill and down dale but well worth a visit. 20 minutes drive from Stirling are The Kelpies and the Falkirk Wheel. The Kelpies are amazing and if you book a tour they take you inside, a must for any engineer. Falkirk Wheel is more interesting watching from outside but is an absolute master in engineering. Stirling town centre had a lovely shopping Mal we just found it busy and difficult to park.

Stirling is my home town, but I have lived in the Highlands for many years now and always enjoy returning. I cannot see it through the eyes of a stranger, but I am proud of what it has to offer. You are literally walking through history on the streets of the upper town below the castle. Climb the Wallace monument and enjoy views from Edinburgh in the east to Argyll in the west. Play golf on one of the finest courses in Scotland with lovely views over the Carse. I could go on. Stirling is a must-see for visitors to Scotland.

Stirling is a good base to see Scotland.
Stirling is a good base to see Scotland. We travelled to St Andrews, Edinburgh and Glasgow on public transport from here.
Stirling has good night life. The surrounding scenery is beautiful. People are friendly. We saw the Wallace Monument. Visited the museum.
A very old hotel with a lot of character, you won't get cold here with super heated rooms!
The room without a view was very comfortable and bed was excellent, good nights rest.
Spotless clean room - nothing to fault.
Breakfast was cooked to order (full Scottish) and a top host to sort it out - full marks for that lass.
That was the best I had in traveling back to Scotland from Folkstone.
Parking on the property was a bonus - not the best of off street parking but excellent to get the car off the main drag.
It's really nice hotel. Big, fancy and just in the middle of city centre. Room was big, clean - with really comfy beds, even the bathtub was there! So, it was so nice to take a bath after long day walking around the Stirling. Tasty breakfast with a wide range of food (sausages, beans, mushrooms, eggs, fruit, toast,...) and drinks (different types of coffees, juices etc..). Like I wrote, location is fantastic - close to shopping centre, bus and train station, and it's just below the castle.
Very accessible to town, train station and other public transportation and very close to the castle. We were able to easily get to the William Wallace memorial vis bus. Rooms were small but cozy, pretty typical in Europe and the UK anyway. Compared to some places we've stayed in Scotland, I felt like it was a pretty quiet area. Hostesses were wonderful. Breakfast was to order along with many options to make anybody happy. Would absolutely stay here again.
The hotel far exceeded our expectations. Having read the (mostly negative) reviews on this website, it was a really pleasant surprise to discover our large and renovated room with a view towards the mountains over Stirling in a superb listed building. The best property we stayed in during our trip in Scotland and remarkably cheap for a 4* hotel.
Very comfortable, cosy house. Every need catered for. Lovely garden. Extremely comfy beds. Good location within easy reach of Stirling city centre and places of interest. Lots of booklets etc provided on Scotland and a comprehensive guide to Stirling and the accomodation rules. Welcome basket with breakfast essentials a really lovely touch.
We loved everything about our stay at Meadowpark. Our family of 5 stayed in two rooms. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the attention to every detail was amazing. The complimentary cocktails, snacks and breakfast basket were an unexpected treat! It was definitely the best hotel we stayed in while in Scotland.
Excellent, very clean apartment in location close to centre. Very impressed with the modern bathroom and kitchen and all the little extras. Also impressed with the large screen TV compared with the tiny TV we had in a hotel on last visit to Stirling - well worth the extra money paid compared to that hotel room.
We liked how Laura welcomed us on the arrival and explained all we needed to know. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and it was the best food we had throughout all the stay in Scotland.
The location was more than perfect to visit Stirling on foot.
We also appreciated that there was parking available.
From entering the venue the staff were amazing and very professional.
The room was clean and I used the bar area and the drinks were reasonably priced for a hotel with very nice friendly staff.
The breakfast buffet in the morning was very nice and the food was really nice and hot
Excellent Location, Good sized exceptionally clean room, Excellent Breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. All the facilities at the Hotel were excellent. Would highly recommend a stay at the Stirling Highland Hotel. Can't wait to return. Excellent Car Parking facilities.
large comfortable room with a comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely, something to suit everyone and the restaurant was beautiful.
We were attending a show at the Macroberts art centre so the hotel was in an ideal location and also not far from Stirling city centre
The staff were friendly and welcoming. Particularly the front of house.
The location is probably the best you will find in Stirling. Located within walking distance of the castle, shops, restaurants and the city centre.
Beautiful property close to everything and it has parking! The breakfast was great, but the best thing was the staff - so friendly and helpful. The Allan Park was literally the best part of Stirling.
The staff were so amazing! I would go back just for them!! The hotel is lovely and the food is very good. The location was convenient to lots of things we wanted to see. Stirling is beautiful.
The hotel is very nice and the staff excellent. Breakfast was lovely. Location wS very good for Thistle Centre and restaurants. However if you are going to Stirling Castle area - take a taxi.
Everything. Property was beautiful, well maintained, comfortable and well located to Stirling and surrounding area. Hannah was a wonderful host. We loved Finlay her son and Molly the dog.
