Superbly located for Worthing town center, 19th-century Chatsworth Hotel is a family-run, Grade II Listed building with Georgian frontage overlooking Steyne Gardens. A lovely, old-style genteel hotel. Fantastic location close to the Pier and shops with a brasserie/ restaurant. The hotel has many extras including a reading room and bar and provides discounted vouchers for parking just outside, which worked perfectly for me. I love this hotel, the staff were also very helpful and friendly. The cooked breakfast was really excellent and my room was very confortable.
Ardington Hotel is located in Worthing, 328 feet from the promenade and pier. With free WiFi, this 3-star hotel offers rooms with attached bathroom, room service and luggage storage space. Excellent location, within 1 minute's walking time from the beach. The room was lovely and big. We were upgraded for free which was a kind gesture. The staff were attentive and the bar is open 24 hours so it was nice to be able to relax and have a drink on our late arrival without having to go anywhere. I will definitely go there again.

Located on south coast, many beautiful areas and buildings to enjoy as well as the pristine seafront. Parking like anywhere, can be a pain, but can usually find somewhere close to destination. Was lucky enough to have a genuine little craft pub at end of the street.
Old fashioned style resort which is a characteristic of British heritage. There is a degree of melancholy that is actually quite fascinating. The demographic probably favours over 50s of whom I, unfortunately, am one.
Family meal at the Toby Carvery in Goring Road, food and service all very good. Beer at The Parsonage which has a great choice of Sussex real ales and a friendly, knowledgeable publican. The seafront very nice for a walk.
I stayed in West Worthing, near to Tarring Village. A lovely place with lots of gorgeous old buildings to look at. The restaurant in Tarring was wonderful and the food and service were superb. The gentleman who ran the accommodation was a perfect gentleman and even helped me with my bags to and from the car (because of my arthritis) and dropped me to the restaurant in the evening, so I had a lovely walk back in the evening. I was given help with directions to the wedding venue too. It is very easy to drive to and in Worthing and even easier to West Worthing.
It is really good for families. There are beautiful gardens, outdoor gym near the sea, square with sand box for children, garden with fountains where children can play with water, mini golf, bowling.... We were without car, so we used a lot the railway to go to Highdown garden at Goring-By-Sea, Brighton, Arundel where there is an amazing lake with rowing boats, Portsmouth. Inside the down we walked; nothing was so far... We ate fish and chips at Chipwick and bangers and mash at Alehouse & Kitchen and had a tea with a slice of cake at the Pier.
