Beautiful hotel. Great breakfast. Staff very helpful. Super cute and mellow. You can't go wrong with visiting this town and especially this hotel. We are on the 4 week road trip through Italy and this was the best stop.

Everything. I never give an excellent rating because I feel everyone can improve on something. Not the case here. Attention to every little detail was superb. Breakfast, which we paid only 10 Euro per person, outstanding. The town, the area, I could have spent weeks.

The most calming property I’ve ever visited. Everything was exceptional - the food, the staff, the rooms, the facilities, everything. The pool was so relaxing with a good amount of chairs for the size of the resort. We had the privilege to eat at Tavola di Guido for the tasting menu and it’s a meal I will never forget. We also did the olive oil and wine tasting which was delicious and very informative. This property offers so much that you really don’t have to leave. Would love to come back!

The villa is in a beautiful location, and Stella and Ettore were wonderful hosts. Breakfast and dinner each day were fabulous. Stella arranged for a tour of a local winery and we had a terrific time making day trips from the villa to explore Tuscany.

Quiet hill town with lots of amenities.
Quiet hill town with lots of amenities. Well located to visit other towns if you are willing to drive.
Pay VERY close attention to the information sent by the hotel about luggage drop off and pick up. Steep fines for driving into the old town if not done per instructions and timing.

I made a mistake with my comment about the car park. There is good access and plenty of parking spaces. I muddled up my comments about another location.
Castellina is a lovely town with some history and good places to eat.

We loved the location, amazing scenery and ambience of the property. It is an authentic rural family owned winery originally owned by Host’s grandparents. Excellent personal service is also a standout plus the split level room is very spacious and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Walking round the Tuscan vineyards is an amazing way to see the local area. We walked around Castellina, Radda,. Giaole, Volpaie, San Gimignano, Volterra and Badia a Passignano. All fabulous walks - don’t forget to stop for coffee when you can, to sit and watch the world go by. Florence and Siena are a short distance away too and we’ll worth visiting - enjoy!

The location in the countryside was excellent.
The location in the countryside was excellent. Plenty of room for parking, somebody always on duty at reception & beautiful large room with very spacious bathroom. Choice of either A La Carte or Set Menu & the food was excellent paired with local Chianti of course. Downtime can be spent at the pool & indulge in some wine tasting from their large stock on site. Had a free wine tasting in Castellina the following morning from a very informative host. The hotel is surrounded by local vines which just adds to the atmosphere of the area. Staff always available & always helpful. Sad to leave after a lovely breakfast with plenty of choices in the morning but must return for longer on our next trip now that we have found such a star offering.

The hotel was beautifully set out . The gardens and plants were wonderful as was the stunning views from all around the pool. The pool area was lovely. It was immaculately clean and well tended. The bedroom was very comfortable and of a very high standard in terms of bedding and toiletries and added extras. The hotel building and grounds had no downside at all. Considering there was a fine dining restaurant on site the breakfast served was a buffet and very poor in terms of selection and quality.
The hotel is situated within a winery. The closest city is Siena within 20 minutes by car. The hotel staff was very helpful and kind. Breakfast was excellent and there is a private parking within the hotel. The hotel provides a shared kitchen with cutlery for the guests.
We had a lovely stay at Castello La Leccia. We have stayed in Tuscany many times but have never come across a Boutique Hotel that matches the Castello for location, facilities, exceptional staff and food. We cannot speak too highly of our stay.
Lovely small town and the hotel was in the middle of it. Beautiful gardens and pool. Very loud music in the street opposite e until very early o'clock, but I didn't mind that. Its summer in Italy; people having fun is good for the country.
