Tokyo is very clean and you feel safe walking around.

Tokyo is very clean and you feel safe walking around. I stayed in the city for 5 days and traveled to Hakone and Enoshima on my 6th day. I enjoyed shopping in the city. The food everywhere is also superb.

    There’s always something to do

There’s always something to do If you’re a skincare girlie hit the nearest don Quijote and go for gold you will not be disappointed Saezarea is a treat 10/10 will eat there again Even if you’re not a fan go check out the gundam it’s awesome in person But that’s all I will give you your trip is to make your own But there is always something to do Quick side note please don’t do the go kart thing You can’t go over the speed limit and imagine if you were stuck behind some A.H. and you’re just trying to get to work

Beautiful city! Electric, some places are very mesmerising!

Beautiful city! Electric, some places are very mesmerising! The metro is convenient! Temples are beautiful! team labs borderless is love TT Arcades are addicting but veryyyy funnn! Clean, yea clean indeed! Some locals can be rude or racist :( Like that one time, a teen brushed my hand by mistake, but was checking his hand if he got any (brown) colour on it :( Or that one time an elderly man pulled his wife away from me angrily, even though I was merely standing a feet away from them :(

Tokyo is always magical - whether it's Harajuku, Jingumae, Omote-Sando, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Ginza, Shimbashi, Akihabara or Asakusa - you need to see it all. The food, people, fashion and cleanliness of the city are incredible. Take advantage of the 1-day Metro pass and whip around the city. There are a lot of lovely green areas throughout the city, so seek out these shrines and parks. For trips, buy water or juice and an onigiri in advance in the supermarket or convenience store. Japan is relatively very safe, so you can enjoy amazing walks throughout the city. Learn some Japanese to make your stay more immersive as you will meet brilliant characters, especially the elderly with fascinating stories and tips to share with you. Don't forget to ask about the tax-free price availability when buying things (you'll need your passport to claim this).

Since this was not my first time, I chose a ryokan (...

Since this was not my first time, I chose a ryokan (traditional Japanese Inn) in an older part of Tokyo (Asakusa). I did walk around but because of the heat, I sought shops and restaurants with A/C. Tokyo did not disappoint. I also used Suica (an app) to use the public transportation which is excellent. I did visit the Tokyo Skytree Tower because I like to take photos and it does give a great overview of this massive city. I went early. There are crowds - one has to get used to that. But the city works. I visited old Japanese friends and they took me to wonderful Japanese restaurants like a 1895 Sukiyaki restaurant in Asakusa. I also went to a Tempura restaurant in that area, and a Soba restaurant there, as well.

Tokyo was a wonderful city to visit.

Tokyo was a wonderful city to visit. Plus, all surrounding cities visited had a uniqueness that defined it from the others. Transportation via the railway system was easy to/from other cities and the airports. Prices/value was great in comparison to other cities traveled abroad and in America. The people were respectful, friendly and accommodating everywhere - large and small towns. Definitely will return. Culture, food, shopping, historical sites, nightlife, etc. - everything you would want during a vacation and safety, too.
