Formerly a mill, this beautifully restored hotel enjoys a peaceful location in the Rio Almansor Valley. It has a large outdoor pool and a dining terrace, which overlooks the river. this property is absolutely exquisite. an old mill converted to a venue with amazing family home. the staff are so lovely and even though we had to use translator to communicate (🤓) they were gracious and accommodating. the animals are well-loved and it shows. the place is WELL off the beaten path, so don’t be surprised by the long and partly dirt road to get there. it’s the first place I’ve been in a very long time where you could hear silence. Just wonderful

Featuring mountain views, Monte Sul da Pintada has accommodations with a balcony and an electric tea pot, around 19 miles from Chapel of Bones. This is a room/suite off a private house. A small terrace overlooks vineyards with citrus and olive trees. Very clean and comfortable room. Comfy bed, well sized room. There is coffee, tea and fruit provided, but no real breakfast. There are plenty of grocery stores, cafes and restaurants in town. The location is about 5 minutes to town but felt very rural. The owner met us and was very welcoming. Parking is secure behind a gate by their house. Communication was easy and prompt.

Located only 28 miles from Cathedral of Evora Se in Montemor-o-Novo, House is located on a corner provides accommodations equipped with a terrace, garden and outdoor pool. Since the host lives next to the house we rented we did not have to worry about picking up keys from somewhere/someone else or dropping them in some secure place - she gave us immediate access to the house as we arrived. The host was also really nice and of good help during our entire stay. The house is on a big property and we could enjoy lovely walks (accompanied by the host's super friendly dog) and there are also a lot of different farm animals passing by. Even though the property has other 2 or 3 guest houses, the poll was so large that we did not have to worry about the other families staying there at the time. There are grills and even a pizza oven next to the pool - great for easy meals that feed a lot of people.
