It is a bigger city than I realized and more spread out so I found that staying in northern Jacksonville was not the right area of the city for me and I ended up having to do a lot of driving. I think I prefer the southern Jacksonville, Nocatee, Jax beach or Ponte Vedra beach areas.

The entire experience in Jacksonville was horrible! Not ever going back again!! Especially at this particular hotel - it states it’s a Baymont at Wyndham but it’s really not!! It’s dirty, mildewed and drug infested with addicts and prostitution going on! Very scary and gross!! I ended up taking my family on foot to another hotel nearby. Waste of money!! AND IM STILL TRYING TO GET MY REFUND FROM THIS PROPERTY!!

What a city!
What a city! This southeastern city in Northeast Florida is a city of land, sea, and large rivers. There are several areas of water, beaches, biking, camping, shopping, and eating activities. This is an affordable city to vacation in. Plan to visit a thought-provoking museum like MOSH, The Ritz, The Cummer, and religious institutions. There is an Under The Bridge shopping area, for locally produced items made up of materials and foods. You may sit there at the Saint Johns River and listen to weekly music or local presentations. This city has numerous institutions of higher learning. Visit a campus for an informal tour or attend an event. Be sure to visit one or more of our distinct neighborhoods.
Come and find your place in this city of beauty and outdoor activities.

The office was clean very peaceful quiet respectful The Manager was sweet kind when I got my hotel it was clean decent if you're traveling I would recommend it's a decent motel older yet monish the staff is very sweet listening very patient I did not have any problems at all nothing is perfect at all for this to be a older hotel it is perfect decent the area has shopping and restaurants walking distance

Jacksonville is close to Amelia Island and St Augustine so we visited both. We went to the Southbank Riverwalk and we visited The Ritz Theatre. We had a great time just riding around Jacksonville looking at the sights in the city.
Nothing. The personal is terrible. No towels. No soap. Never cleaned the room. I needed to leave the room 2 nights before and they don't refund the difference. I don't recommend this "hotel". Infront of this hotel, there is a better. Don't stay in Baymont!
I loved how clean the room was. It was so spacious and had all the essentials that is needed. It's an amazing hotel.
The outside area is also lovely. Also the staff was very welcoming which is always a great thing.

The room is very dirty, smoky. The air conditioner blows mold spores, it is impossible to breathe. The bathroom is not cleaned, there are fingerprints of previous visitors on the bed. This was the worst hotel in my life.
