The facility was wonderful and new. We had a corner room and the natural light and windows were wonderful and beautiful. Also location! We walked to downtown instead of driving. It was a 20-25 minute walk and it was perfect. Even at night we felt safe walking on the street back to our room. Parking was around the back (first come first served) or on the street for free on the weekends.

The establishment was quite small - only three rooms - but that only adds to the charm. The rooms are clean, charming, and equipped with everything you might need, with the exception of a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean. The owner was an absolute dream. She was nice and very helpful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. There is a bus stop two minutes away which is very convenient if you plan to ride the bus into the city center. The fare for a single trip on the bus, since it is a Lothian country bus, is £3 and you must have exact change to buy a ticket on the bus.

My friend and I stayed at Grangeview for three nights while visiting Edinburgh, and it was amazing! We had the junior suite and absolutely loved it – super cute, very clean, and cozy. Each morning we received a lovely breakfast bag from the owners, which was such a thoughtful touch. The location was perfect with a bus stop right around the corner– only about 10 minutes into the city. The owners were incredibly kind, responsive, and accommodating. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!
