We have used the restaurant many times. It is one of the reason we like to visit this part of Scotland. But this is the first time we have stayed in the Hotel and it will not be the last time. Fantastic

We had such a fabulous stay at the Tullie Inn! Great room with friendly service from both the reception and restaurant.
We stayed in a family room with our two teenage daughters and really appreciated having the extra room attached, even with its own desk and tv. Clean rooms with lots of space, comfy beds and bedding, and a well-stocked coffee/tea station. Beautiful large bathroom with a really nice tub and shower (separate), as well as lovely soap/lotion and thick towels. We were also thankful for a great continental breakfast with fresh juices, delicious pastries and bread, cereal, yogurt, fruit, etc. It’s also very conveniently located right by the train station (which was actually very quiet).
On the edge of Loch Lomond and a 30 minute drive from Glasgow and its airport, this 4-star guesthouse has hearty Scottish breakfasts and free Wi-Fi.

We spent just our first night here on the way to Isle of Sky. The guest house was clean and comfy. The breakfast was delicious, one of the best during our trip.

Beautiful scenery on the walks to Loch Lomond shores, if you can get on the boat tour then I would definitely recommend, so tranquil. The Tullie Inn is directly next to the train station and across the road is the boat trips booking office. We’ve stayed here a few times. Pleasant staff, cosy, comfortable and clean spacious rooms.

We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch.
We have stayed there before. Like where it sits on the Loch. Easy access to parking. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. Food good and great variety. The only downside is there is no sitting area away from the restaurant at night. Could do with a little bar to have a quiet drink before going to bed. You can easily access anywhere else in the Balloch area.

Apart from the House of Fraser shopping centre there was not much else. Ideal for walking an=round the area but the town itself is in need of investment as it was pretty shabby, poor example of the gateway to Loch Lomond

The apartment was very spacious and comfortable, within easy walking distance from Balloch. Lovely to park outside, there was a table and chairs outside at the front too. Lots of restaurants and shops in Balloch and you can walk to the river and catch a ferry or tour of Loch Lomand, also near to Loch Lomand Shores, worth a visit if you like water sports, adventure playground for children, Sea Life and a few shops.
It was lovely to have space, rather than cramped hotel rooms great value for money and very clean.
The location was ideal for me, just a short bus ride from my son's home and close to Alexandria town centre, Balloch and the bus stop. My host was very kind and welcoming. My little room was spotless and very well equipped with hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a TV. I had a good nights sleep. Breakfast was enough to feed a family of five! I was delighted to find a single room at such a reasonable price, enabling me to visit my son and his family who do not have room to put me up for the night.
My mom and I stayed at Gowanlea Guest House and had a truly special stay. Andrea warmly welcomed us and was a warm, engaging, and thoughtful host throughout our visit. We had an adorable, clean, and very comfortable room, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was delicious! And we were just a 10 minute walk from the Balloch train station, restaurants and shops, and hiking. I highly recommend Gowanlea to anyone visiting the area!
Wow, what a beautiful cottage and very quiet area. Our assistant dog love it and what beautiful panto. Everything was excellent.
We drove to Luss, Helenburgh and Balloch which was not far.
We were walking to beautiful country park and lovely shopping close to Cameron House Hotel, walked pass Boathouse keep walking to small shopping centre.
We were walking to Duck Bay Hotel and Cameron House Hotel which was not far from this area.
Most ingratiating host ever who cooked us the best breakfast we had on our Scotland trip. Our room was plenty large, had heated bathroom floors and towel warmer, and a super comfy king bed (our first in a two-week stay). The lodge is within easy walking distance to Loch Lomond and there's a lovely walking path along side the Loch. If you want more restaurant options than are within walking distance, you'll need to head out in your car.
My booking was done at the last minute as my previous accommodation had fell through and it was after 9pm when I arrived at the hotel,The staff were very welcoming, the room was really clean and very nicely decorated. shower was lovely once I figured how to use it.The hotel is a five minute walk from balloch Station and a short walk walk from Loch lomond which has a small shopping area.
I would stay again next time I'm in balloch.
We booked BurnHowf as we were attending a family wedding in the Cameron House hotel and were delighted we did. Everything about it was excellent, from the close, walking distance proximity of the hotel, through to the cleanliness and excellent facilities on offer. We will most certainly book again with Drumkinnon Lodges. Thank you for the perfect stay.
Brilliant location. Very useful for accessing the town, Loch Lomond and the stunning surrounding area.
No more than 30 minutes from Glasgow and the airport although you would never know it in Balloch.
Large, very comfortable room.
Kevin our host was really informative, extremely friendly and couldn't do enough for us.
The breakfast was fantastic.
The whole place is very new. The whole hotel was spotless, the cleaner was a nice lady too. There was always hot water morning or night. Very close to the lake and a 3/4 minute walk to boat trips and Balloch. Very friendly staff. On the day we arrived one of the bar staff gave us some pointers on where to go and what to see. Exceptional service.
For a family quickly touring the UK for 10 days, this "glamping" experience served as a marvelous introduction to Scotland outside its cities and towns. The hosts went out of their way to ensure that each family member, whether young or old, had a relaxing and enjoyable time. That served to make the experience even more memorable.
We found the staff very friendly and willing to help with anything we asked. The hotel was ideally located for seeing the local sights. We were there to get my spouse to hospital first thing for a surgery and it was perfect.
The room was well decorated with a comfortable bed.
Lovely hotel with very friendly owners. Within walking distance of all Balloch amenities. Hotel was still being renovated when we stayed so the restaurant wasn't ready, but would love to see the hotel when it is finished :)
