The hotel is right in the town centre. Very clean, comfortable and inviting. They went the extra mile with providing us with everything we needed for our stay! The guy at check in was very kind too. This is definitely somewhere we will stay again.

Rooms are good size, new, clean and have a fun decor. Nice little touches with chocolate, Nespresso, etc. There are two nice walks from the hotel, one to the Castle and one along the river. Town is walkable. Designated parking was nice. Restaurant had some of the best food we had in England.

Lovely place and the canal at back of pub. Another pub over the can at back of pub that I would try as well next visit. There is lovely walk over on the other side of the canal. Plus very dog friendly.

Bolton le sands is a quiet village, with a lovely beach for dog walking and stunning walks along the canal.
It is the Door way to the lakes so not far to access any of the Lake District attractions and beauty.

Good first impressions when you walk through the door. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. With a restaurant and bar downstairs you don’t need to leave the place in the evening. The breakfast that was included with price of the hotel was most enjoyable.
Nice pub/hotel for a stopover night on our trip back to Scotland, I mainly booked for location but was pleasantly surprised on the pub and restaurant which were both excellent. Parking was easy across the road and all round I think we’ve found a new venue for our trips down south.
The food was exceptional both in the evening restaurant and breakfast. All staff were very welcoming. The bed was very comfortable. It was very clean. Great parking right outside the hotel. I appreciated the fan provided in the room as it was a very warm night.
Didn't have breakfast at hotel so can't comment, but location of the hotel is beautiful.
While can't comment on breakfast. The food was delicious at dinner, and given me being type 2 diabetic, they couldn't have been any more accommodating and helpful.
Room was spacious and clean beds very comfy .
Easy check in , staff were pleasant and helpful.
Will definitely return . Had a meal here at the Royal hotel and the food was exceptional.
