We’ve taken great care to make our beautiful home, and we’ve recently spent some money on new furnishings for our guests whilst our own family is away. Hither Green is a peaceful residential area known for its attractive Victorian and Edwardian houses, as well as its leafy streets and parks. It’s really popular with families, and we’ve loved living here. Mountsfield Park is a large public park with a children's playground, sports facilities, and a cafe. The park is a popular spot for picnics and outdoor events, and is also home to a weekly farmers' market – we’ve spent many hours there. Hither Green is also home to a number of restaurants and pubs, including our favourite The Railway, a popular pub known for its live music and events. There are also a number of small independent shops and supermarkets in the area, as well as a weekly outdoor market on Hither Green Lane. The area is well-connected by public transport, with Hither Green railway station providing direct services to London Bridge, Cannon Street, and Charing Cross in 30 minutes. There are also several bus routes serving the area, making it easy to explore the rest of south London from Hither Green.
