We loved staying in apartment number 8. The bed was lovely big and comfortable. It was a great apartment. All the staff we met had excellent customer service skills and made us feel very welcome. Kids loved the swimming pool with flume We definitely want to come back again

It was in a great location and it was great for the kids - with a park on-site. The passes to the China Fleet Country Club were also a great addition - my kids loved the pool. The appliances all worked great. There was a washing machine and dryer which was useful.

Brunel is a lovely, typical pub in Saltash. When we arrived, there was bingo night which made the pub itself lively. The staff are also no frills while being friendly. The inn has everything you need but is on the basic side. The bathrub is also huge!! The full breakfast is also very generous.

    We only stayed at Little Trenoweth self contained apartment so not sure what Saltash has else to offer. But this is most definitely in our top 3 places we have ever stayed in so peaceful and excellent hosts Tilly and Kerry .

    For what I saw, it is an area of outstanding beauty.

    For what I saw, it is an area of outstanding beauty. Perfect for nature lovers. Specially if you enjoy walking along winding country roads. The village area is absolutely beautiful. I wish I booked our stay at Saltash itself.

    We stayed at a village called St Dominick in the Tamar...

    We stayed at a village called St Dominick in the Tamar Valley. We visited Cotehele, a superb National Trust property. We also took a trip on the Tamar Valley railway line - very reasonably priced and an interesting journey which takes you across the Calstock viaduct, The area has a lot to offer with walks and views. Some great pubs too. You are not far from Plymouth so plenty of places to visit. Definitely recommended for a short break.

    A fantastic, cosy, well equipped bungalow perfect for a family or two families to share. Set amongst idyllic Cornish woodland, the site itself has leisure facilities for young children, whilst retaining a calm and tranquil atmosphere. Location wise you are walking distance from the local pub, a short drive from others, within 20 minutes of Plymouth for any aspect of city life you may desire and half an hour of the picturesque coastal villages of Polperro and Looe. Absolutely magic! If travelling in a cooler time of year the log burner would be great, however visiting in summer as we did we made use of the outside space and furnishings. Attentive host who checked we had everything we needed midweek, we are looking to stay again as soon as possible.

    We loved Saltash :) great location with easy access to local shops and pubs. We visited Looe and it was a great place. Friendly locals and nice quirky shops. We would definitely stay again but longer next time to explore more.

    It had everything practical you could have needed. It was really clean and they had wonderful little touches for our dog as well. Very nice location either way a pub a couple of minutes away which was lovely and very dog friendly (our dog made it onto the dog wall of fame!). A very quiet site with not much noise. The access to the spa is fantastic, we went a couple of times and it was really lovely.

    The Cider House is easy to find and close to the A38 with good connections to the rest of Cornwall and back to Plymouth. Even so, it does not suffer from traffic noise. It is situated in a small estate with beautiful grounds (we enjoyed both local walking and driving to the coast - Whitsands and Seaton (the Cornish one!) are nearby. Comfy beds and living room, and the kitchen is well-appointed.

    Staying at a 400 year old home, in the beautiful countryside of Cornwall. It was a great base for visiting the surrounding Cornish countryside. Bridget, our host was welcoming, friendly and helpful. A cooked breakfast is offered as well as cereal, fruit and yoghurt. Very nice.
