Staff amazing they were very friendly and considerate with us.

The hotel was in an excellent location to visit Windsor Castle, the restaurants around it were really good, the hotel was spotless clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. It was my husband's birthday and they left a card and chocolates, they also upgraded us which was brilliant.
A big thank you to the hotel for being very accommodating by upgrading our room, leaving a birthday card & chocolates for my husband, moving car park spaces and not charging us for the car park space due to us scuffing our alloy - so a big thank you to the hotel it was really appreciated.
This 17th-century house is between the banks of the River Thames and Windsor Castle. It is now a 4-star hotel and has free Wi-Fi, air-conditioned rooms and an award-winning restaurant.

From the moment you drive up, you know this castle-esque property is something special. The lobby is stunning and fresh flowers are everywhere. We loved the flavored water upon welcome and the attention to detail in the decor is second to none. The beds were extremely comfortable.

Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago.
Was very disappointed. Booked a room about 9 months ago. It was so small that we both couldn’t get dressed in the room together! The price we paid, we expected better facilities! Reception was disorganised and the breakfast was chaotic! Didn’t even get a clean table to sit and eat !
Premier Inn is better than this hotel!
No lifts to our rooms nor any help provided to climb two stairs with our luggage!
Not worth the money you paid!

Windsor is very attractive, beautiful buildings, the castle...
Windsor is very attractive, beautiful buildings, the castle is fabulous and ever present as you go about the city. We went early in the season( April) and the as the castle isn't open to visitors tues/wed the town / riverside etc was very quiet which was lovely. We were leaving thurs afternoon and visited the castle first thing , we had booked our tickets online which we were very pleased of because of the queues. It was fantastic walking around the staterooms and grounds of the castle- extraordinarily beautiful and very interesting and quite moving to have access to st George's chapel.
Suddenly the streets were heaving with people and school parties.
There are lots of places to eat - mostly chains, but we found an excellent greek restaurant by the river.
We also went on a river cruise which was very pretty and interesting. Everything was very close by. I think 2 days was perfectly adequate time see all windsor has to offer.
The station was right slap bang in the middle of town and even the riverside station was only a ten min walk from town centre. Every where is beautifully kept and clean.

You don’t need much time in Windsor as the only main attraction is the castle. We did lots of walking around the town and went in the castle. On our second day we struggled to find something else to do. But I would recommend the duck tour ! Excellent service and hospitality. Very educational and a great hour out.

Lots of shops, pubs and restaurants to cater for all tastes.
A must see is of course St George’s Chapel and Windsor Castle, beautiful walks within the grounds and the Long Walk.
Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday you are given a real treat of seeing the parade of changing of the guard a fabulous spectacle.

We had a day at legoland and a morning at Windsor Castle. We ate out in Windsor both nights and enjoyed the restaurants we visited. There was plenty of choice. We could have had another couple of days and explored more.

Everything was close to the property, eateries ,shops, lots of walking if you enjoy walking, coffee shops, the Long Walk, Eton and walking along the river Thames. Also good bus connections to Legoland outside the Castle. Can’t say there was anything we didn’t like.
The hotel did not serve breakfast but recommended some places in Windsor. The room was good and clean. It was located at the other end of town but it took only 10-15 minutes to get to where the Castle is. Quite a lot of shops, pubs and cafes to choose from. There is a Chinese call 1623 (or something like that) which was amazing. The hotel is actually a pub - and is a very friendly one. The guy let me sample some of the beers and I enjoyed a pint in there before heading off to look around.
The location of the property is excellent as it is just a few minutes' walk to the entrance of Windsor Castle, restaurants, and shops. Additionally, there is a market across the street which is super convenient, especially when traveling with kids. The property manager, Tim, is super nice and helpful. The property itself is very clean and has everything one needs for a comfortable stay in Windsor. We will definitely be staying at this property again the next time we visit Windsor.
Nice amount of parking, though some a few minutes walk away from hotel. Very friendly and polite staff - Kingsley at reception was very helpful to us throughout our stay, and treated us warmly.
Nice, comfortable rooms with luxury toiletries. Lovely rooms for events/weddings, with ample water dispensers and toilets nearby. Fabulous and beautiful grounds to walk around.
Lovely complimentary breakfast in mornings with great selection of warm and cold foods.
Great location. Just a short walk into the centre of Windsor and to Windsor Castle, the river and Eton.
Room newly refurbished. Modern, clean, warm, and very comfortable . Large tv, kettle, toiletries hairdryer and iron and ironing board.
Good choice at breakfast.
Secure underground car park beneath hotel with lift access to all floors ( extra charge).
Staff very pleasant and helpful.
The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Location was good with easy access to Windsor. Better off paying for an Uber than the extortionate parking prices in town. The gardens were lovely and it has a nice terrace area where we enjoyed a night cap. A shame we didn’t get to try their wood fired oven pizzas.
The level of help, care and support provided by Rachael on reception was quite exceptional. We were visiting Windsor to attend an Investiture at the Castle. The help, care and support provided by Rachael made a very special occasion all the more memorable. Thank you Rachael; you are an excellent ambassador for the Castle Hotel, Windsor.
The bedroom was very clean and comfortable, with ensuite shower and toilet and a large screen TV.
The lounge was very nice and the facilities, such as tea, coffee, microwave and toaster, very good.
The location was excellent with the Castle and Theatre just ten minutes walk away and a large car park at the rear of the hotel.
All staff and service was great, but waiter Benito made me feel more welcome than I have ever felt in any hotel in my life. It really made my stay. The castle is litterally around the corner, and the brasserie offers a beautiful view of the river and the gracious swans. Good wifi everywhere.
Charles house is very close to the Windsor central train station, Windsor Castle 🏰 and downtown Windsor- every where you need or want to go is within ten minutes walk.
It was very clean and the owner is very helpful. There is a very good grocery store directly across the street
Beautiful old building in a great neighborhood with easy walk to restaurants and Windsor Castle. They upgraded our room to a cute corner space with window into the lot. Loved the free drink at the bar when we checked in! Breakfast was delicious and worth the hotel price alone!
Lovely hotel which is within walking distance of restaurants, castle and windsor shopping centre. Staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was really nice with a choice of a cooked breakfast and continental. Couldn't fault our stay and would recommend this hotel.
the staff was friendly and very helpful! the room was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. there was a very nice selection of choices for breakfast every morning. this hotel has an excellent location to walk up to Windsor castle and along the River Thames.
We enjoyed our stay and all the staff we met were lovely. The Royal Adelaide Hotel is a lovely place to stay in Windsor within walking distance to Windsor Castle. We had food in the restaurant which was very nice and the breakfast was excellent.
