Situated on the edge of the Lake District, in the lovely old market town of Ulverston, these luxury one and two bedroom apartments are the ideal choice for the discerning business or leisure traveller seeking the space, privacy and comforts of home not found in a typical hotel or bed and breakfast facility. Great care has been taken to furnish and appoint the apartments to the highest of standards: fully equipped, modern kitchens make it easy to prepare and serve a meal, luxury fitted furniture in all bedrooms ensure ample wardrobe space and in the sitting rooms the contemporary, elegant furnishings, unlimited Broadband and smart TVs ensure a functional, relaxing and comfortable living environment. Centrally located, in a newly renovated historic building, surrounded by Ulverston's array of restaurants, cafés, shops and pubs, the apartments are within easy walking distance of the railway station whilst a short drive will take you into the heart of the beautiful Lake District. The Laurel and Hardy museum is located a few minutes walk from the apartments and Ulverston's theatre, the Coronation Hall, is at the end of the road.
Guest satisfaction is our top priority and our apartments have been furnished and equipped with this in mind. We want our guests to enjoy their stay with us, relax and feel totally at home. Of course this means providing all the basics but it is the personal touch and attention to detail which makes the real difference: you will find our kitchens stocked with high quality crockery, glasses and cutlery; the beds made up with goose feather and down pillows and luxury cotton bedding; the living rooms tastefully furnished and the bathrooms supplied with complimentary toiletries and soft towels. We aim to deliver an exceptional level of customer service, which means from the moment we receive an enquiry or a reservation we will do everything we can to be of assistance and to meet our guests' requirements. Prior to arrival guests will receive an information pack (usually by email) containing contact phone numbers, details of how to find the property and check in, as well as information about the apartment and local area. A more detailed version of this will also be available in the apartment. A complimentary welcome basket is provided as are bathroom toiletries.
Ulverston's location close to the beautiful Lake District and Morecambe Bay means there is something to interest everyone of all ages, either in the town itself, or within easy travelling distance. Outdoor enthusiasts will find much to do in the area with beautiful walks, cycle routes and water sports easily accessible. The many festivals held in Ulverston throughout the year have given rise to the town being named the Festival Capital of Furness; of particular note is the Dickensian Festival, usually held on the last weekend of November, during which the streets are lined with stalls selling all manner of goods and entertainment is provided by bands, singers and street performers dressed in Victorian costume. The apartments are centrally located and provide the perfect base for festival visitors as well as visitors to the Lake District. The many and varied eateries in Ulverston cater for all tastes and budgets and are all within easy walking distance of the apartments. The apartments provide the perfect base for business travellers working for the local industries including BAE, Glaxo and Siemens.
