Bude is great. A childhood holiday destination, with lots of memories attached, and somewhere we’ve returned to with our own children. Loved the sea pool but access with loads of beach kit in a trolley isnt the easiest! We actually walked across the cliff tops from the beach just to the north - so didnt exactly make it easy for ourselves but finding a car parking space in Bude is really really hard. It has an interesting history, including the Castle, Canal & unique sea locks, breakwater and sea swimming pools - as well as beautiful beaches and coves nearby. Bude has something for everyone.
Bude has something for everyone. Been there several years with offspring and grandchildren and never tire of it. Wonderful beaches, leisure facilities for all ages and interesting shops. Great beachside cafes and in town especially Rosie's at Crooklets Bay. Bude sea pool is always popular and beaches are wide and sandy with rockpools. Choice of 3 beaches all with lifeguards.
