The flat is cozy and well-maintained. It's conveniently located to a ton of public transportation, making it accessible to the sightseeing of the day and nightlife of the city, while far enough away from the crowds that I could feel the serenity of the nearby water and community on walks with my dog. I also liked that it's on the ground floor with an enclosed garden to enjoy. The neighborhood has a market just up the street and a handful of great cafes and restaurants in the area. Also, Giles was also a responsive and helpful property owner, despite the challenges of being away on deployment. I'd definitely book here again.

A lovely 2 bed home with lots of natural light and garden space. The interior is spacious and well presented. My apartment is located in Edinburgh's Newhaven area which has lots of local cafes, restaurants and bars and is very close to the famous Royal Yacht Britannia! It would be perfect for small groups or couples who want to soak up the Edinburgh atmosphere without having the business that comes with staying in the city centre.
I am a 27 year old Officer in the British Army serving with the Irish Guards in London. Rent out my flat in Edinburgh while I am away serving so please enjoy it and make the most of what Edinburgh has to offer. I am originally from Scotland and have two brothers who also live in London. Love of sports and animals: mainly Rugby and Polo. Have owned horses and dogs my entire life. Very easy going person and very tidy and respectful Been travelling all over the world, Canada, USA, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa......the list goes on! I won't be available in person but I have a fantastic support team who will be contactable by email or telephone during your stay.
Newhaven is home to Ocean Terminal one of Edinburgh's largest shopping centres that hosts a wide variety of shops and restaurants, as well as day activities for all the family. Newhaven also has the Royal Yacht Britannia, one of Edinburgh's most popular attractions, docked at the shore. From the property it is a short walk to the restaurants and bars in Leith as well as the city centre being easily accessible by public transport. Getting around: Edinburgh Airport: From the airport take the Airlink 200 bus to Newhaven. Train: The nearest railway station is Edinburgh Waverley. From the station take Lothian Bus number 7, 10, 11, 16. Alternatively the apartment is a quick taxi ride away. Buses: Lothian Buses are the main bus operator in Edinburgh. They offer a great free app that provides route maps, fare information and live bus times. Its a great tool for getting around the city.
