Looe is the sort of place you would go to get away from the everyday of city life I moved from Devon to Bristol a few years ago and wanted somewhere quiet and this was absolutely it, it felt like another world! Despite the rain we went on loads of walks perfect for the dog there is a lot of hidden gems and loads of history to be found. Personally it was perfect for two of us plus a Labrador, maybe less so for children unless you’re willing to travel further afield for day trips! Definitely recommend Kelly’s fish and chips.

Beautiful Looe!
Beautiful Looe! Weather was wild and a challenge with big gusts of wind and heavy rain. Restaurants closed relatively early especially when travelled from far and arriving later than 8pm. Locals very friendly. Bit disappointed with the quality of fish food in 2 restaurants.

It has lovely shops and many places to eat, a lovely place to visit.
But can be very busy so plan ahead for food and parking, like booking up if want to go to a particular restaurant! Please make sure you book even before arriving if going in a busy time of year, parking just go straight to main large car park as will waste time trying to get into small ones by harbour unless mid winter as very busy.

Looe is a great place with plenty of pubs, restaurants and essential shops. It felt a safe place to walk around in at night, and we encountered no large groups of stag parties etc such as would be found in Newquay. Parking is a bit of a pain and expensive, so we left the car parked up most of the time and used the local train and bus services which are quite frequent and convenient. There are plenty of walks both country and seashore. Large supermarkets are in Liskeard about 20 minutes drive away, but smaller stores such as the Co-op are in Looe. Recommended.

Looe is a beautiful port with plenty of public parking, accommodation and food stops. Sea Kitchen and The Old Sail Loft are two superb restaurants. Just along the coast is Polperro which is an unspoilt harbour and a must see!
Great Location for exploring Looe, Polperro and beyond. In a friendly and quite area with a lovely swimming pool. Great to relax beside the pool or go out exploring for the day. We also found the site manager friendly and helpfull with info on places to eat and the bus stop location etc. The owners also made us feel very welcome. And we had a great nights sleep and found the facilities very good. The roast dinner at the Jubilee in Pelynt was lovely on the Sunday. Well worth the stay if your in this part of Cornwall.
Everything.
Without a doubt one of the best B&Bs we have stayed in. Ben and Julie are excellent hosts. On arrival we were offered tea and cake, very welcome after a 3hr drive.
We had room 3 this time, what a fabulous room. Overlooking the harbour, glass of wine watching the world go by.
Excellent location with parking. If we are travelling to Looe we arrange our trip around vacancies here.
If you are travelling to Looe try here first. Did I mention breakfast, what a breakfast, well done Ben and Julie.
From the moment we arrived to when we left, we had a wonderful time. Such a beautiful place and what views! A modern place and yet with an eye to detail for the traditional. We were told in advance that a cooked breakfast wouldn't be available due to staff shortages, but the hotel certainly maid up for it. Croissants, porridge, Canadian pancakes with fruit and honey, yoghurt and homemade Bircher müsli (non-dairy option too) with various fresh fruits. I'll definitely be back
Breakfast served every morning provided a broad selection of high-quality items, prepared and delivered to perfection by the nicest hosts imaginable, Stephanie and Andrew. They made our stay delightful and we’re accommodating to all our needs during the stay. The room was well appointed, clean, and comfortable. The view from our windows were terrific. The TV and wifi were better than other locations in Cornwall.
Room was perfect for a couple same facilities as a hotel room but not as expensive, very clean room and cosy. The host Steve was a lovely guy and very helpful had some suggestions of places to go , one of which was nearby Fowey, which we went to and was a lovely picturesque town . Would recommend the jolly sailor pub at the bottom of the hill in Looe
We would definitely stay here again .
We loved the apartment. It was spacious, comfortable and clean. The owners Roger and Catherine left us a good welcome pack. It was lovely to come back to after long days out. The neighbourhood is quiet and it's not too far to walk to the town of Looe and the beaches (that's if you're prepared for an uphill walk back).
The views of the sea and coastline were spectular!
Location was fantastic, view of the river/estuary was brilliant, and constantly changing. The great town of Looe was just across the bridge. We had total freedom to come and go as we wanted, car park was near, with unloading Bay nearby. Of course, Cornwall was within access either driving or via bus routes outside the door.
It was a good size mobile home with 2 bedrooms which is always great as a couple. Within driving distance was a lot of attractions in this section of Cornwall so there was plenty to do. The park was very quiet, car parking space right outside the mobile home and easy to access. we enjoyed the stay.
Classically decorated elegant guest house. Fridge in room. Breakfast lots choices. Hosts very friendly. Location for town great. Great as a base to explore Cornwall. Bus stop outside hotel. to limited places.
Great location, room had spectacular views of East Looe and the beach.
Lovely modern hotel ,hosts were very welcoming.Plenty of choice for breakfast which was freshly cooked and tasty.
Well located, own parking & EV charging point (very rare in Cornwall & Devon). Loved the pet llama doorstop (photo). Teapot & cooking oil. Good view across west Looe
