Ebury Hotel Cottages and Apartment's, hotel in Sturry

A short walk from Canterbury city center and its world-famous Cathedral, this privately-owned hotel is set within a Victorian townhouse, amid 2 acres of well-maintained grounds.

I was truly surprised how good this place was considering the price. The room is very big and comfortable, and breakfast is varied and tasty. The city center is walkable from the hotel, around 15-20 minutes.

Pilgrims Hotel, hotel in Sturry

Located within the Roman city walls of historic Canterbury’s center, this family-run hotel dates back to the 16th century. It offers free WiFi, and a cozy, oak-beamed bar.

Location is perfection. Right in the middle of the old part of the city and a very short walk to the cathedral. The Family room in the attic was great, we opened the window and listened to the birds, there was a door between the master bedroom and the kids room which is always nice. Breakfast was lovely.

Well, Sturry isn't really a destination in itself!

Well, Sturry isn't really a destination in itself! But it's well placed for Canterbury and Herne Bay, and a good stopover place if you're going further, maybe even if you're going to France via EuroTunnel.
